She was shaky on her feet, so she kept a firm grip on Kal's arm. Lana leaned against him just slightly and sighed as he got the door open for her. "So glad my father is in Theed this weekend. He would kill me." she groaned. In all honestly, Antar probably wouldn't have noticed, because she would have been able to sneak in pretty easily. Not tonight though.

Vaguely, she remembered Calanons threat to tell Cycerin who she really was....and who her father was. It still didn't bother her much, but it certainly would be difficult to explain to her father why a pyrepenol addict was standing on their front porch. That could be ugly. Her gaze snapped back to Kal and she forced a small smile. "Thank you...." She murmured as she kind of slumped into the passenger seat. "I don't deserve your help, really."

He nodded to her as she slumped down into the passenger seat.  He would lean in and simply respond, "Every needs someone willing to help them..."  Following that, he'd shut the door and walk around the back of the speeder, open up the driver side door and climb into the seat.  He, of course, had to adjust it to his height.  It had been set for her's and there was no way he'd be able to operate the vehicle with the seat so far forwards.

Once he had been fully settled, he'd push the ignition, starting up the engines.  The speeder sounded amazing, but of course it would be for the price that it would've cost brand new.  He took a look over to her, making sure she was still alright and to ask, "I honestly have no clue where I'm taking you to."

"Home, Jeeves!" She exclaimed as she waved her hand a bit, indicating for him to go forward. A small smile crept across her features as she looked over at him. It hadn't occurred to her that he likely didn't know who she was, but he might. "It's a about....ten kilometers from here. The estate on the edge of town?" She asked, wondering if he knew it.

"Or this thing has a guidance system. It has the address." She wasn't about to try and figure out how to use it, as it was hard enough to use when she was sober, let alone in the state she was in.

She seemed to not really be all there at the moment, but there was one good idea that she had, the guidance system.  He smiled, almost laughing at her as he reached up, touching the screen, making it light up.  He wasn't a complete tech savvy person, but he knew his way around all sorts of electronic devices.  Given just a few moments, and a few seemingly random touches on the screen, there on the screen was their way back to her estate.  It looked like it was a simple route that he could easily follow.

After pushing the throttle, the speeder took off, headed towards the edge of town where he was being guided to.  Since the two would have a few moments alone on the drive, Kal turned to her, simply asking, "What happened back there?"

After she showed him the GPS, she got distracted by what was outside of the window. Mostly trees and scenery, darkened by the wee hours of the morning and the tinted windows of her speeder. Kal would find that the vehicle was a dream to drive; maneuvered well and ran smoothly. It was fast, too, and of course had every bell and whistle available.

"I....don't know." She murmured as she lazily turned her gaze back to Kal. She trailed he gaze slowly across his features, smiling softly as she did. Dark hair, tanned skin, chiseled jaw. He was very...pretty. No, handsome, pretty couldn't begin to describe him. "I was supposed to meet Calanon....and he didn't come." She paused a moment, hesitating. "Cycerin did. And then there was that....whatever that was....and I don't remember anything else after that." Ilanah admitted quietly.

"Do you know who my father is?"

He would continue on the way, listening to her describe what she could remember from the night, and he would nod to her, showing that he was paying attention.  He noticed that they were just a little bit out from the estate.  He'd take his eyes off the navigation system and would turn slightly to her, making eye contact with her, and answering her question, "I do believe I met him when I arrived here several days ago...but other than that, no I don't personally know him."

"Good." She responded simply. Ilanah didn't really care if he did or not, but she kept remembering Calanon's threat. That shouldn't have bothered her either, but it did. She was genuinely concerned about something happening to he father...and now it could happen and be her fault. She didn't care if something happened to her so much, and for all her misdirected anger for the man, she wanted her dad safe.

"Probably best you don't. Oh..." She said, motioning forward with her hand. "It's that one up there on the right." It was an enormous manor, gated, and the only house on the street. The property was expansive and the whole place was beautiful and classic for Naboo.

He saw it as she motioned forward with her hand, telling him which one it was.  He would pull up to the gate, stopping just short.  He turned to her, curious as to what she meant buy it 'probably best you don't.'  He would attempt to make eye contact as he would attempt to dig deeper into her comment.

"Why is that?  Why is it best I don't?  I feel like there's something you are worried about..."

Ilanah met her gaze to his for just a moment before she unlatched the safety belt that was holding her into the seat. She scooted over and then leaned across Kal and rolled down the window before she typed her gate code in so that it would open and they could go in. She smiled some and then dropped back down into the seat next to him with a sigh. "Daddy is....a politician. And the Queens advisor...and some people might....take advantage of that. Will you? Be a use Calanon threatened it." She admitted, without really thinking about it. For some reason, she was trusting this man. She trusted someone else that evening too, but he had left and she was a wreck.

Would he take advantage of her father being a politician?  Why would he?  He had no interest in politics or anything dealing with it.  He was a Jedi, and swore to protect.  She must have been at least a little worried about this man Calanon threatening her with it all.  But noticing that the gate was no fully open, he would slowly drive the car up to the estate, while keeping up the conversation with her.

He shook his head at her question about him taking advantage, "I'm not that type of person.  I have no interest or need to take advantage of your father, but if someone is threatening a member of the Republic, I do believe that it is my job to aid in ceasing that threat if need be."  Simply stating that he would step in if things became dangerous for either her or her father.
