Being spoiled didn't always necessarily make someone a bad person, it was the lack of sense and reason that did. To say that Ilanah Ilyone was a bad person was a great misunderstanding. Sure, her outward appearance and occasional tabloid worthy exploits, along with her Nyriaan spice habit, overshadowed any charity work that she enjoyed doing. In her mind, she knew that she did that to help people and for herself, not for the papers to report on. They always just saw the bad things about her anyway.

Then of course there was her father, who refused to believe, despite many holos and tabloid reports, that she was that kind of party girl. He spent most of his time in Theed, anyway, so he missed the wild and abundant partying at their manor on the outskirts of Dee'Ja Peak. His solution? Throw more money at the "problem" and pretend it didn't exist. The arrangement worked well for both of them.

That evening, Ilanah say on the bottom step of the large staircase in the foyer of the manor. She was....soaked. As was the foyer and the ballroom and there were piles of foam all over the flooring. Perhaps the party had gotten a little much, so she may have deserved the yelling at she was getting from their head maid, but it had been very worth it...and an incredible amount of fun.

Several were dispatched to Naboo to help oversea a smooth transition between Senator Amidala and the new Queen of Naboo, Jamillia and the several months afterwards.  There was one, out of that group, that had an alternative reason why he was really sent there by the Council.  This Knight was to look into a rumor of spice smugglers making frequent stops on Naboo looking to lay low, thanks to the new Queen opening up the world for aide to the refugees that were suffering from the Separatist Crisis in the Galaxy.  This would provide the smugglers plenty of opportunity to empty some of their cargo into the suffering populous.

Kal had gotten a few leads, but everything was ending in a dead end.  There was one that he had yet to follow up on.  It was of the daughter of one of the Naboo Royal Advisory Counsel members.  He had heard that she was buying frequently from several different dealers.

He had to pay off a few people, but Kal was able to have them spread rumors about a fresh shipment of 'special' cargo straight from the planet Nyriaan.  He hoped that her hearing of this would draw her out, and he might be able to get some deeper, more truthful answers from her.

Of course, she didn't buy the stuff herself. It came from a poor, unsuspecting Naboo security forces rookie....straight out of academy. Sure, she wasn't that interested in him in the least, but he didn't need to know that. And it wasn't like she was the only one in the city that did spice, but probably the most prominent. A least she was subtle.

"Well Domnhail, I imagine that if you use a broom, you could just swept it all out of the door? I don't know. Isn't cleaning sort of your thing?" She said when the maid finished her tirade. "Or just drag the hose in and rinse it all out...the floors are marble." Ilanah didn't seem to care too much, then got up to open the front door, making a sweeping out motion.

"Anyway...I have to go do something."  She said before she swept a jacket over her shoulders and fluffed her hair.  Domnahil protested angrily and Ilanah left anyway and went off to meet her "friend", though some folks might have considered him a dealer.  It wasn't far, anyway, just off a kilometer or so from town, so she was there within fifteen minutes or so, and waiting.

There could have only been a few parts of town that the daughter could have gone to in order to get her next fix.  He figured that he would patiently wait in town for her to arrive into town.  There had been a few small dealers that he had ran into during a visit into the bar, but their information was useless to him.  He really believed that this woman would be able to give him more answers.

Sure enough, about an hour after he had placed himself in a prime area to see most of the street below, a speeder came up.  A small smirk came to his face, waiting to see who would get out.  He wondered if it would really work out the way he had hoped it would.

She parked her speeder and climbed out easily, but as soon as she closed the door, she stumbled some on her sky high heels. With a sigh, she steadied herself by holding on the door handle with one hand and reached down to remove the shoes with the other. It dropped her height by at least five inches, and she tossed her shoes in the car. Since it was warmer than expected, she removed her jacket also, and underneath she was wearing her favorite little black dress.

She checked the chrono on her wrist and sighed. Late again. Or did she have the wrong day? Either one was entirely possible.

As she climbed out, his eyes kept focused on her.  It wasn't because he knew that was who he was looking for, but rather the fact of just how beautiful she was.  After blinking a few times, he realized he needed to get down there and talk to her.

Quickly, Kal turned, running and leaping off the back side of the building, gracefully landing in the alley below.  He stood up, gathering himself together.  His hands dusted off his shirt as he walked out into the street before him.  He could see her, still standing there in that little black dress.

Heading across towards her, he called out, "Ma'am, do you need help?  It looks like you might be in some distress..."

Ilanah turned her head and looked over her shoulder at the man. "Ma'am? Seriously?" She smirked for a brief moment and then glanced at her watch again. "No, no thank you. I don't need help. Just meeting a friend and he's late....." She explained, which would have seemed to be a perfectly reasonable explanation to any ordinary person.

She gave him a brief glance again and then forced a smile. "I oughta be going anyway....can't wait forever." She said before she reached for the door handle of the sleek black speeder that she always drove.

He would smile back at her as he walked up to her.  She had easily tried to dismiss him and his question.  He knew her true motives for being out here, and now she was acting a little nervous about him walking up on her.  He raised his hand, "Then I apologize for interrupting you."

He turned around, and started to walk off.  Suddenly, he stopped, looking back at her,"You wouldn't happen to be Ilanah, would you?"

She paused when he spoke to her and hesitated when he said her name. "Seriously?" She sighed. "Who the hell are you? Did my father send you out here to check on me?" It wasn't the first time Antar had done that, and usually she was able to slip away from her 'guards' pretty easily. "Because I assure you it's entirely unnecessary and a waste of both of our time." She flashed a brilliant smile and leaned back against the speeder.

Her gaze trailed over him briefly. "They're usually a lot older though, and gross....which you're not. So how about you just tell me who you are and get it over with."

He chuckled a little, sensing that she was flustered and a bit mad, thinking that her father sent someone after her.  Turned back around and stepping towards her, he would shake his head, answering her, "Your father didn't send me.  I've never actually met him.  I was just passing by, and saw a lovely woman standing out here without any shoes on and all alone.  Then, I recognized you and thought I'd see if everything was ok..."
