Ilanah was completely wrecked, so much so that she barely remembered her own name, let alone that of the man who knelt beside her and in front of the sofa she was on. She blinked, her hazel gaze locking on him when he asked if she was alright. Her vision was clouded and her head swimming. It had been too much for the younger girl, and things she had never tried before that were completely disrupting her system.

"No." She responded vaguely before she tore her gaze from him and it floated around the cloudy, dimly lit room. It was empty, which surprised her some, aside from the pair of them. "I'm not...." She started, her focus diminishing quickly. "...Sure where I am." The music was still loud, pulsating and vibrating through the walls of the private room. "And I don't have any shoes." It was just then that she noticed her shoes were off, though they were laying on the floor not far from her.

Her speeder keys and purse were laying on the small table too, and her comm link laid there with no less than seventeen missed calls and four voicemails. The battery was nearly dead though. Being in the room still, with the lingering smoke and the noise probably wasn't helping her, but Ilanah made no immediate move to leave, not that she was coherent enough to drive herself anywhere anyway.

Finally, after several moments, she turned her gaze back to Kal and blinked slowly again. "Can you take me home...?" She murmured as she reached for the keys to her speeder.

He could see that she was finally coming around as he knelt down next to the couch right in front of her face.  As she started to look around the room, so did he, but he wasn't looking for her things, he was making sure that they were the only two left in the room at this moment.  He figured that she hadn't been here for long, like this, and that they had just left her there to fend for herself.

The music continued on, pulsating the entire room.  She began to reach for her keys, but Kal interrupted and grabbed her hand, "Here, let me get your stuff."  He let go of her hand and moved to the small table, gathering up her keys, purse and comm.  He slid the keys into his pocket and the comm into her purse.  Next, he grabbed her shoes and brought them over to her, either letting her put them back on or just carry them, then handed her purse to her.

He could tell that she wasn't coherent to drive, nor was she probably coherent enough to navigate herself back out of the club.  He reached out his hand, offering her help to her feet, "Are you ok to walk, or should I carry you out?"  He asked, prepared to carry her if need be.

Ilanah shook her head and let him take the keys and her bag, while she slipped her heels back on. She wrapped a hand around his forearm so she could try to stand. As soon as she did, the room began spinning out of control again, and she would very nearly hit the floor unless he intervened.

She wasn't upset or stressed, nor was she ill or close to being so. She was just completely out of it. This moment was probably the worst she had ever been, and ever would be, unless of course Cycerin wandered back into her life at some point. For now though, she glanced at Kal briefly.

Kal would indeed intervene as she began to fall to the floor after standing up.  He grabbed onto her arms, stopping her just in time and slowly lifting her back up.  He held her there, making sure she was good, "Looks like someone needs a lift out of here?"  He asked, trying to imply that she needed him to carry her out.

He had never been in a situation like this before.  He's seen people wandering around that were either drunk or intoxicated on something else, but never experienced anything first hand and had to deal with it.  Even though she had probably been through something like this before, he was still worried about her overall wellness.

"I'm fine." She murmured as she steadied herself and stood again. Yes, the room was still spinning, but she was trying harder this time. At that point, she was confused enough, and perhaps stupidly, getting into a car with a stranger for the second time that evening.

Not thinking about it, she left him standing there with her purse. As she wandered out into the club. It was loud still, and crowded, though it didn't much phase her as she tried to find her way through the crowd on her own. Ilanah had already quite forgotten that Kal was with her. It was only when someone bumped into her, that she fell again.

She shook off his offer like it was nothing, like she had done this thousands of times.  Perhaps she had done this that often.  He wouldn't know until later on, maybe.  Before he knew it, and snapped back out of his thoughts, she had started making her way off back into the main dance floor of the club, completely leaving him behind.  She seemed determined to get out of there on her own.

He quickly went after her, trying to keep up as much as he could.  She would weave in and out of the crowd.  He would try his best to keep up, but there would be points where he would lose sight for a moment, then he'd see her pop back up just ahead of him.  He would push his way up to her just as she bumped into someone, falling over again.  This time, he was in a better position, and caught her under her arms.  He slowly lifted her back up, and let go, hoping she had her balance back.

When he caught her and steadied her again, she didn't move. Instead, she dropped back, her back against his chest. They were so close to the exit, but she was done. "I quit I'm staying here." She said, meaning she would stay in that exact spot. He likely wouldn't let that happen, and that was alright, but she was done trying.

Ilanah tilted her head back some, so she could look up at him, though in the position she was in, he was upside down. She wasn't tired, really, but worn down from the intensity of the evening she had so far.

He was surprised to see that she didn't move, other than leaning back against him.  Was she this trusting with just anyone, or was she just getting comfortable with him?  It didn't matter at this point, he just needed to get her home so she could rest and recover.

When she said she was quitting, he shook his head, "We're not staying here."  He would reply just as she tiled her had back and looked up at him.  He bent down, scooping her up into his arms.  He did his best to keep her secure in his arms, but not too tight.  He could tell they were close to the exit, so he began pushing his way through the rest of the crowd, reaching the exit in mere seconds.  He turned around, moving his back against the door, pushing it open and spinning back around.  He took a few steps, then stopped.

He looked down at her, asking, "Do you remember where you parked the speeder?"

She slid her arms around his neck and let her head fall against his shoulder. Before she knew it, they were out in the fresh air, and she could breathe easier. He spoke and she shook her head. "It's black." Probably not the response the man was looking for, but it was something. Obviously, she didn't remember where she had parked it, but it couldn't have been hard for him to find, as it was likely the nicest one in the lot.

"And shiny. It's shiny, Kal." She murmured as she finally looked up. "Oh....and over there." She saw it and pointed the vehicle out. It was obviously hers, with it being the newest and most expensive model available.

He turned his head towards where she was pointing, and she had given a pretty accurate description, even though he knew what it looked like from earlier in the night.  He would head over there, nodding to the bouncer on his way to the speeder.

Getting to the car, he lowered her down on the passenger side of the car letting her feet down and allowing her to stand on her own if she could.  He reached down into his pocket, pulling out the keys and pushing the button that would unlock it and opening the door for her to be able to climb into the seat.
