High Value Vessel Transfer Market


All sales are final. Payment must be made in readily transactable metals and fiscal units, IGBC bankers drafts, Aurodium bar, currencies such as the Republic Credit or Gold Peggat etc. The Market's Accounts Department with-holds the right to refund any payment in its original form and cancel the bill of sale if payment is made in unsuitable or forged specie.

Republic Citizens and Organizations must prove they hold the legitimate authority and permits to purchase and own a ship of this class before the transfer is complete.

Those outside of the rule of the Republic are required to have a letter of permission to own such a craft from the Planetary Ruler of the World on which they hold citizenship.

Ships discovered to have been used in the course of crimes will be confiscated by the Bank. Vendors must be verified as the legitimate owner or legitimate representative of the owner, and that the ships transponders have not been logged at any crime scene or battle on the BoSS records.

Invincible-class Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser

Not a reproduction but an original that was owned by the same Navy for almost three thousand years before suffering a failure in it's engines while dangerously following an inadvisable course that went through the atmosphere of Cygnus Prime too fast, resulting in a crash. The ship is inoperable but fundamentally and systemically mostly intact, thanks to being a tough old thing built in the days of projectile cannon broadsides is intact as are all major systems except the engines, the main generator and some power distribution relays. The ship is configured to the common modern "Corporate" weapons loadout.

Notes: The ship itself, while worth a few times the cost of repair, does require a large fraction of it's cost to be put into raising the ship using heavy tugs and freighters with Tractor beams placed carefully so as not to damage the hull, transporting the ship to the Core World of Rendili by attaching a frame to the hull and then having a dozen hyperspace tugs move the ship, an expensive processs. This is home of Rendili StarDrive, the only workshop really able to repair and reconstruct accurately these old classes (without destroying the original style of the craft). Then once there repairs would only take approximately a month (as the parts required would be built during the transit time from the Cygnus Empire) and be relatively straightforward.

In consultation with salvage firms, hyperspace tug companies, Rendili Stardrive itself and the costs, including parts and labour would be estimated at Thirty Million Credits, with possible circumstantial factors causing a 10% overspend. This would restore the ship to original functional status with it's modern weapon load. Rendili StarDrive has said it would be prepared to modernize the control systems to bring them in line with other common models, as well as re-routing power conduits using more modern cabling, for free gratis, just as a token of their wish to be onboard with the project.

It's possible to get lower quotes for repair of this type of craft from many shipyards but with ancient vessels, unless it is one of the more cutting edge Core Yards. Quotes if repaired at other Core based Yards vary between fifteen and five million less. If a world had it's own shipyard industry it could do it for a fraction of the price.

For a further fifteen million much of the menial work onboard done by crewmen could be eliminated or replaced by Droid workers, reducing crew requirements by half, thus reducing upkeep cost etc. It is understood, however, that after investing already in a ship so heavily, it might not be practicable to re-invest more capital in the same project directly. The exact market value of the ship after repair and restoration could be as high as two hundred million credits, as ones have sold previously for a similar sum. This isn't just a fleet's new warship, it's a symbol of history and pride.

In functional and generally good condition but with signs of use and lack of maintenance on some systems and it has not had a software update in over fifty years. An overnight service at the Alderaan Naval Docks would be priced at 10,000 credits, essentially paying for the software upgrade as the replacement parts are covered under the ship's original warranty due to the initial run of ships having minor issues with certain systems when the ship was first produced around 150 years ago.

One Ice-class Picket Corvette
The true visionary nature of this design cannot be under-estimated. This craft blows the recent prize winning Corellian CR-70 and CR-90 corvettes out of the water in terms of applicability as a combat asset. This is the future of Corvettes, no more large conference rooms, yacht hangars, luxurious suites or other non-role specific items. The Ice-class is designed from the ground up as a fighting ship, and while lacking many non-military utilities makes up for this by out gunning, out armouring and out running the highest selling Corvette of the last decade.

A Lot from Jamie's General Transport and Waste Management
One Hardcell-class Transport

This is a rather well loved example of the class. It might be limited in usefulness by virtue of being used as a radioactive waste hauler for the past two decades and despite having attained a certificate of decontamination fro the Corellian Government and the replacement of the main waste tanks there is still rumor in the Corellian Spacer Bars that the Government skimped upon the decontamination quality and that being aboard could make you infertile in a minute (demonstrably this last fact is either a lie or exaggeration. Possibly useful as a Droid-operated hazmat hauler. The product is offered Caveat Emptor so the condition is as-is. It's possible the ship may be perfectly operable and safe, but it is possible hot particles cling in nooks and crannies threatening an potential organic crew. The ship is fully functional and configured as a tanker.
Note: On purchasing this vessel it is strongly suggested that a reputable corporation or government body is brought in to confirm the Corellian certificate of decontamination.
