GALACTIC REPUBLIC SUPREME COURT ARREST WARRANT

This warrant has been issued by the competent judicial authority The Honourable Leoten Eddicus, Justice of the Galactic Republic Supreme Court.
I, on behalf of the Justice System of the Galactic Republic request that the person mentioned below be arrested and surrendered for the purposes of conducting a criminal prosecution.

Section 2: Decision on which the warrant is based
The written decision by Zaizhi Kongming, Chair of the Judiciary Committee notes there is “sufficient evidence” to issue warrants based on the Text of the Stark-Hax Trade Agreement, revealed by Bane of House Hax (Senex-Juvex Region) on the floor of the Senate, with the facts & finds of the Judiciary Commission to the worlds governed by House Hax (Senex-Juvex Region) confirming the initial statement.
The consensus of the Bench of the Galactic Republic Supreme Court confirms Chairman Kongming's belief in the justifiable grounds to indict the being charged with the offenses listed below (although others may be added or removed pre-trial at the discretion of the Republic Prosecution Service).
Regarding "Mitigation"
Alyn Stark stated on the Senate Floor (in his defense) the following mitigating factors, they are not considered legal mitigation and should have no bearing upon the arresting officer’s handling of the matter.
- His own words “In this case, I must admit the most embarrassing of errors: ignorance.”; fails as mitigation by virtue of the founding legal principle of “Ignorantia juris non excusat” (Ignorance of the law is not an excuse).
- “I wear many hats. I am the lord of a specific province on my world, as well as being a third of a portion that oversees the world itself, in conjunction with others. I am a businessman as well, managing two companies and a designer on top of that. I am also a husband to my wife and a father to my four-year-old son. I wear many hats, Senator Terrawin, and not even the grandest mind can keep track of every single rule, regulation, statute and law present.” This is covered under the legal principle above. Being incompetent is not a defense for such a high ranking official charged with such serious offenses. Nor is professional, business or family stress considered mitigation unless in combination with psychiatric deficiencies or illnesses.
Section 3: Offences the being subject to this warrant is under indictment for:
Crimes Against Sentience:
- Aiding, Abetting and Perpetuation of Slavery in breach of the Articles of Sentience.
Regular Criminal Charges:
- Illicit Trafficking in Arms and War Material (In breach of Senex-Juvex Trade Embargo)
- Negligently supplying weapons to House Hax that were later used in the mass-murder of civilians.
- Complicity in the mass-murder of protesting slaves by House Hax.
- Laundering the profits of crime (Slaveholding)
- Brokering and Operating an Import-Export Market in a system where trade with the Republic is prohibited.
- Criminal negligence in the operation of a Business or Governmental organization on a Republic world.
Criminal Breaches of the Senex-Juvex Trade Embargo:
- Sale, supply, transfer or export of arms and related materiel of all types.
- Sale, supply, transfer or export of a list of equipment that could be used for internal repression.
- Provision of technical and financial assistance including the brokering of prohibited items to the Senex-Juvex Sector, or of it’s worlds or governments.
- Illegally Contracting in financial and material transactions in breach of the embargo.
- Illegally shipping or the commission thereof, for the purpose of carrying goods to the Senex Juvex Sector or anywhere within its borders.
Section 4: This warrant pertains also to the seizure and handing over of property which may be required as evidence:

Description of the property and information to be placed in the hands of the Republic Judicial Forces Prosecution Division,
- All goods imported from the Senex Juvex.
- All profits from sale of said goods.
- All paperwork relating to the contract between House Stark and the House Hax.
- All communications of Lord Alyn Stark and those made by his household and corporations in the in the last year.
Section 5: This warrant pertains furthermore to the freezing of assets in order to prevent their use in evading justice or in conducting further illegal trade.
Assets may be unfrozen if justified by a Justice of the Supreme Court, usually requests should be made during bail hearings but in an emergency they may be made remotely via holo.
Assets to be provisionally frozen:
- The personal assets of Alyn Stark
- The assets of the wider House Stark
- Any Corporation owned by Alyn Stark, House Stark or any affiliated group that involve any form of shipping, military goods production, sale or use. Including but not limited to Lorrd Engineering and Stark Unified Defense.
Issued in the name of the Galactic Republic Supreme Court, Alyn Stark being given a 12 hour grace period to give himself up to local law enforcement or a Judicial to be arrested and transported to Coruscant for Trial. If there are any queries from Alyn Stark they may be directed to my professional holocomm.
If Alyn Stark does not surrender himself to justice within the 12 hours stated he is to be considered to be refusing to cooperate with Justice he will be a man wanted for a number of felonies and may be pursued by any Republic or Local Law Enforcement to bring him to trial.

Suggestion to the Military Arms Regulatory Bureau to investigate Lorrd Engineering for Corporate Liability for the following offenses:
- Complicity in acts of Mass Manslaughter - providing the weapons which House Hax uses to put down slave revolts.
- Criminal Negligence within Lorrd Engineering - in there being no failsafe or measure to stop such an illegal contract.
- Corporate Complicity in the Slave Trade and the Holding of Slaves.
It is also urged to investigate the culture and systemic failures at Lorrd Engineering which allowed such a contract to be fulfilled without reference to Repubic Law, and whether such an organization is suitable to be chartered to sell or produce arms in future.
Proposals for the Lorrdian Justice System
- Commencement of an investigation into whether Alyn Stark or any other might be charged with Misfeasance or Misconduct in public office in not preventing this agreement.

Instructions from the Judicial Forces

ORDERS: Senior Captain J.L. Kant, Commanding Officer of the Judicial Ship Berethon, currently on patrol in the Kanz Sector, your current orders are suspended. You are instructed to make all practicable speed to Lorrd to officially take Judicial Forces custody of Alyn Stark.
Once Stark is aboard make haste to Coruscant and deliver him to the Judicial Department Headquarters prior to debriefing and reassignment to another mission. Lorrdian cooperation is expected but not guaranteed. If there is hostility, obstruction or resistance;, contact the Judiciary Committee Immediately. At all times comport yourself as an Officer, a Gentleman and an Ambassador of the Galactic Justice System.
Request to the Lorrdian Government
Please politely inform Lord Stark of this warrant, give him 12 hours notice and if he does not voluntarily enter your custody please politely take custody of his person under local arrest (House arrest is permissible) and have him ready to move immediately when the Judicial Cruiser Berethon arrives in 18-36 hours time from the issuance of this warrant. On arrival, the Judicial Officers aboard the Berethon will make the formal Republic arrest.
