| Having been explored by Lorrdian scouts in recent months, and discovering that no other world, species, persons or group has a claim on the world of Drongar, Lorrd serves official notice of our intent to annex the planet known as Drongar, which has no association with the Republic and no government or sentient life upon it.
Lorrd has already established a small facility on Drongar, as well as optioning construction of a number of facilities in orbit. Lorrd has a major investment in Drongar, which is home to bota, a drug which has been often lauded as a miracle cure on the market, when it can be found, that is. The inhospitable nature of Jerne is what prevents many from looking at it as a chance to harvest this healing solution on a large scale, but Lorrd is willing and able to take the risk.
Furthermore, it is our intent to donate a full twenty-five percent of every harvest of bota to Republic medical facilities and distribution centers, allowing for victims across the species scale to receive a new lease on life and the aid they deserve, without paying extortionate costs.

| But the question remains, can Lorrd afford to defend its conquest?

| Hardly a conquest, Senator Ordan. Drongar is an uninhabited world, in the back of nowhere. As well, overtures have been made to certain parties to bring them in on this venture for additional security and assistance. With any luck, your medical facilities, as well as those of the entire Republic, will soon be benefiting from bota, gratis, thanks to Lorrd.

| That felt, uncomfortably, like a threat, did it not?
Senator Lekpin, I think it's wonderful that Lorrd has done this. Advances in the medical field are always welcome. Chandrila does appreciate Lorrd's unselfish efforts to help the people.

| I think the Nikto arguably have a claim here. But you are surely right it is in a distant system and was uninhabited at present.

| I do say, it's odd to find you of all people, Senator Ordan, trying to lobby for the rights of an alien species. However, Lorrd is well aware that Drongar was discovered by the Nikto over one-hundred twenty years ago. In that time, no Nikto has ever come forth to lay any claim, as records have shown. Lorrd is the first to lay claim to Drongar, officially and now registered with the Republic.

| Are you implying I am biased in some way against aliens?

A freudian slip?
Doesn't it seem likely that the Nikto as a group subsidiary to the Hutts and their world Kintan being formally aligned with the Hutts that you will provoke the Hutts about this? Doesnt the increased influx of Huttese sponsored malefactors into Republic space threaten us all? Surely seeking at least the consent of the Hutt Grand Council would be wise before exploiting the discovery of their fief?
I mean not to endorse their rights, but to state as a fact that they seek excuse to operate in our space.. and this is plausible provocation for such.

| I have implied nothing, Senator Ordan. Simply expressing surprise.
Senator Kruus, Drongar is quite far outside of Hutt Space. The Hutts have had more than ample time if they wished to lay claim to Drongar. They have not.
The Huttese Grand Council have no interest in the world, and it is certainly not their fief.

| Since the Hutts haven't formally challenged this in any way, we would solicit being granted the contract to ship your cargo out and resupply the structures you intend to leave there permanently.
But being so distant this will require the opening of your own chartered route and mean considerable investment on our side, so would need to be open with the fact that it won't be cheap to send and guard a routine freighter out to Drongar? If you could secure other local worlds to require our services then we can begin to put together a package which would make it logical.
If the Calamarians required minerals from the Kanz Sector for example, we could open up a Kanz-Calamari route with a stop at Drongar for a lower cost, but as ever, our corporation must run on a for-profit basis.
