| I see no reason for Drongar not to become a Republic world, especially if a large portion of its benefits are going to the Republic without charge. As well, it makes matters of trade easier and enforces certain responsibilities.

| It is too far distant from our borders to patrol effectively?
Senator Kongming please do come in on this one, can the Republic afford to patrol worlds that are being commercially used by our Members when those worlds lie outside the Galactic plane with no direct hyperlane access?
We shouldn't have to be responsible for Lorrdian extra-galactic ventures, surely you see my reasoning? This world is outside the Galaxy.. Its a long way away for us to justify any status as part of a Republic which is the Galactic Republic? If we were the Universal Republic I wouldnt feel this way...

| The Government and Foreign Office of Alsakan has taken this matter extremely seriously and will be dispatching ships to ensure the overall security of the Outer Rim. The issue of the claims is muddy at best, but we don't want to see already oppressed alien races being abused or divested of their resources.
We will consider direct or indirect action, so far as the law permits, against Lorrd as the situation develops, naturally we leave no legal option off the table at this stage and would, if the situation called for it, consider a blockade to protest the matter.
