| Kragg lumbered into the meeting more or less on time. His droid--a CZ-series communications/business droid known to its Colicoid master as "Zeepio"—explained that fitting through several of the doorways on the way to the meeting room had been a challenge for Kragg, who stood a full 2 meters tall. Hence the delay, and a rather short temper even for him. The smell of death followed the Colicoid into the room, as he moved around the table on his six legs to his seat beside Senator Ryuun, his claws clicking on the durasteel floor as he did so. That wasn't the smell that bothered Kragg, however—indeed, it occurred to him as he glanced down at his colleagues, nodding to each in turn, that, given the choice of the eight of them present, Emir Kadram was the least likely that Kragg would eat.
But Kragg hadn't come for the food, or the wine. The Trade Federation had a sentient resources problem on its hands. That was Kragg's specialty. The Colicoid looked at his (man-sized) chair for a moment as if deciding whether to attempt to sit on it, before pushing it aside with one of his massive, clawed limbs and seating himself on the floor. He towered over Ryuun nonetheless.
With Zeepio hovering behind him, Kragg nodded wordlessly. He was ready to begin.Added (12 November 13, 7:31 PM)

| "Gentlebeings, Senator Ryuun is cowering in a lobby until he's able to bring in his Adjutant in with him." he would smile up at Kragg companionably. "You didn't pass him and cause the man to wet his breeches did you Kragg?" there was a chuckle of laughter around the room as a Protocol Droid served various stimulating and soothing beverages to the group present.

| Kragg laughed heartily, and even though the sound was more of a "chirp" than a "laugh," and a clicking of mandibles, it was unmistakably mocking in its character. Zeepio made a sound approximating laughter as well, in the habit of imitating his master.

| After waiting a suitable amount of time, Ryuun patted his adjutant on the arm. "Wait here, Vierne. You know how these Neimoidian types all are. Spineless, for the most part, minus a few of them. Likely as not, this meeting won't take much time." Straightening his tie, Ryuun would head on into the meeting. "Sorry to keep you all waiting, gentlemen and beings," he said brusquely. "Good help, and escorts, it seems, are hard to find these days. Taking his seat unconcernedly, Ryuun settled into a comfortable posture, looking around the table.

| Cynum would lean forward and click on a switch on the table. "Gentlemen of the Committee, the a Distortion Field is being activated within this room as we speak. The official minutes will be taken by our good friend the Protocol Droid here" he would wave his arm carelessly at the droid holding flimplast sheets and a stylus. "Any other attempt to record this conversation is to be considered breach of trust and qualify all Corporate personnel for immediate dismissal plus the normal criminal charges that would be levied against any citizen breaking our laws."
He smiled and opened his arms wide resting on the desk. "So, Senator Ryuun. Why do you think you've been summoned here, to a Committee of such high standing? Clearly, since you are summoned the topic is something relating to yourself. Indeed you are item one on the agenda, why might that be?"

| Ryuun folded his hands in his lap, idly rubbing his thumbs. It helped pass the time and ease his thought process. Studying Cynum with a blank look, he raised his shoulders a fraction of an inch. "Far be it from me to presume. I see several companies represented here, and several interests. I see yourself, the Senator who speaks for the Trade Federation, Techno-Union Liaison Tarsus Kruus, whom I had the pleasure of speaking with earlier, two more with the look of the Kruus bloodline; while I don't know them by name, one wears the insignia of a general; the other a rear-admiral, the esteemed Mr. Kadram of Rothana, also connected to Kuat Drive Yards and tied into the Techno Union, and let's not leave out Mr. Mallix, the well-known member of the Inter-Galactic Banking Clan.
"Of course, that puts me in the junior position here, despite being Senator of Druckenwell and primary representative of Druckenwell Shipyards and the Druckenwell Arms Corporation. So why don't you fill me in, Senator Cynum?"

| Kragg couldn't help but notice that Ryuun had failed to mention the veritable Colicoid in the room (and seated directly beside Ryuun, no less). Perhaps they hadn't met, but they would know of each other. Kragg, in addition to being a consultant for the Trade Federation and the Techno Union, also represented the interests of Federation shareholders in BlasTech Industries. This put him on Druckenwell rather often, a regular (if never any less ominous) presence at BlasTech board meetings. It was fitting that he'd be here at the table, even if the table wasn't quite fitting for a being of his size. He looked down at Ryuun as the Senator spoke—close enough for Ryuun to smell the rotting flesh on his breath—listening intently, but saying nothing.

| How, precisely, did one speak of a colicoid when one did not know them? 'This is a colicoid'? 'This is the colicoid'? It would have been rude to make assumptions, after all, and Ryuun was in the habit of assuming little. Indeed, Ryuun knew that a colicoid worked with BlasTech on Druckenwell, but while he'd heard the name, he'd never seen the colicoid before. After all, Ryuun was not a part of BlasTech and rightly so, for it would have been a conflict of interest. The scent, however, was quite unpleasant. Reaching slowly inside his vest, he withdrew a miniaturized holoprojector that he used to store books and documents on, as well as take his own notes.
"Seeing the somber faces of everyone here, I can only assume it to be in regards to," here he paused, tapped the holoprojector and watched as it brought up the written text of Cynum's legislature, "This particular item set before the Senate that you proposed and I opposed."
