| I feel like this request is incomplete. But I've felt that way for a long time now, and it's delayed me from posting this. But if I'm missing something, I don't know what it is. So without further ado, and with a wide open invitation for comments and suggestions, here's my long-belated request for the Esselian Empire. (Bear in mind the Bavos-II platforms exist in the canon, and the Procurator is going to be undergoing a re-design, but it'll be part of the Esselian fleet either way). And one last note: with the presence of the trade station at Vinsoth, I request that Esseles be a trading partner of the worlds of that region; i.e. the Ciutric Hegemony, Kanz Sector, the worlds of the Axxila-Tangrene hyperlane, etc. Same with the station at Lantillies, in the Kashyyyk Region.
THE DARPA SECTOR Essesia System - Shella - Danzer - ESSELES - Pocia* (Tibanna Gas Refineries, Orbital Refueling/Repair Station, Gravitic Technologies Development Station) - Ithona* (Tibanna Gas Refineries) - Talleles* - Kodasta - Permeles Rhinnal System - Hern* (Industrial Waste Disposal Range, Available for Public Use) - Nensil (Bombardment Range and Training Grounds) - Seffi* - Rhinnal (Medical Facilities and Jedi Chapter House) - Basho - Omeddyl* (Tibanna Gas Refineries) - Ruby* Ralltiir System - Clascvoria (Surface-based Refueling/Repair Station, Available for Public Use) - Inwil
GREATER DARPA - Border Station 1B6/Green (Bavos-II heavy-duty military space platform) - Border Station 2LC/Blue (Bavos-II) - Rhinnal Asteroids Minefield*
OTHER Kashyyyk Region, Mid Rim - Commerce Station 7H1/Gold over Lantillies (Bavos-I heavy-duty military space platform) Quelii Sector, Outer Rim - Commerce Station 5FU/Navy over Vinsoth (Bavos-I)
* Uninhabited planet
GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS The government of the Esselian Empire is part ancient and part modern. The Emperor continues to be the traditional head of state, and though he rules supreme in foreign affairs, his influence over domestic policy is limited. The Esselian Hall functions as the legislative branch―a unicameral body with an elected President. The Hall is dominated by Esselian Humans, with only a handful of symbolic representatives from the other worlds of the Empire. Politics in the Esselian Hall are dominated by a two-party system; the Cardean Party is pro-Imperialist and favors a strong, central government and strict limits on immigration, whereas the Forad Party is known for its non-Human voter base, opposition to taxes, and reform agenda. (Far-left Cardean Party members tend to be Human supremacists, whereas far-right Forad Party members are isolationists who call for the abolition of the Empire and its Emperor). The fortunes of the Cardean Party tend to rise and fall with those of the Empire, while the opposite is true for the traditionally opposition Forad Party.
Imperial Governors have supreme judicial authority over their colonies, though a Governor's decrees may be appealed to courts on Esseles whose judges are appointed by the Emperor (and thus uphold Imperial decrees in most cases).
ECONOMY AND RESOURCES For thousands of years, Esseles and the other worlds of the Essesia System formed an insular, but prosperous economy, and the planet's location at the intersection of the two so-called "super-hyperroutes"―the Hydian Way and the Perlemian Trade Route―opened thousands of markets to Esselian goods. The Empire, however, drains the Esselian treasury as much as it fills it, if not more so. Gas mining operations on the nineteen moons of Pocia are lucrative, but some colonial adventures are more costly; its border stations in the Ringali Shell and trade stations over Lantillies and Vinsoth must be maintained and constantly re-supplied, and for all of its colony worlds, the Esselian Empire has no major industrial base.
Experts warn that in the long run, the Esselian Empire is financially unsustainable; Esselian colony worlds are expensive, but Esselians themselves are reluctant to pay for them. Most of the investment in Esselian colonies therefore comes in the form of loans from major banks such as, ironically, Ralltiir―the only world in the Darpa Sector that Esseles was unable to conquer. The logic is that investments in infrastructure and education will pay for themselves in the long term; the reality, however, is that corrupt Imperial Governors use the money instead to buy the loyalty of planetary elites and solidify their rule.
THE IMPERIAL NAVY Historically, the expansion of the Esselian Empire wasn't always peaceful. A proud naval tradition developed over centuries of war with the worlds of the Ringali Shell; indeed, the names Votrad, South Kallis, and the moons of Dolucar are immortalized in Esselian anthems. In today's post-Ruusan era, the Esselian Imperial Navy is much-reduced, but it maintains an officer corps educated at the finest naval academies in the Core. Training grounds and a bombardment range are maintained on the planet Nensil, a barren world in the Essesia System that also hosts occasional war games with other Core Worlds. But the Imperial Navy's greatest enemy during "the Great Peace of the Republic" is boredom―morale among enlisted men is low, as countless hours are spent on uneventful patrol missions.
Like many Core Worlds, Esseles and the Darpa Sector are defended by enormous "Star Battlecruisers" intended only for regional use. Many of these ships are more than a hundred years old and require constant maintenance. The captaincies of these vessels are considered "legacy" positions, occupied by semi-retired, geriatric Admirals of the Esselian Navy. Smaller and newer ships are used to patrol the farthest reaches of the Empire, typically crewed by a younger, more energetic and ambitious corps of officers.
1 Procurator-class Battlecruiser ● 28 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters
6 Bireme-class Corvettes ● 48 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters
3 Marauder-class Corvettes ● 36 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters
2 Bavos-II heavy-duty military space platforms (in the Ringali Shell, canonically established) ● 65 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters
1 Bavos-I heavy-duty military space platform (at Lantillies) ● 8 Falcon-class All-Purpose Fighters ● 36 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters
1 Bavos-I heavy-duty military space platform (at Vinsoth) ● 10 Eradication-class Bombers ● 24 Cutlass-9 patrol fighters

| Can I make a fun suggestion instead of over-reliance on the Bavos (especially for your core worlds) these deserve the best, and the best, I believe, Golan Arms, and better still are Defense Monitors.
Dropping at each location all the Bavoses for a Golan-Alderaan design I pitched about a year ago. With limited speed at 10mglt and a class 10 hyperdrive, these won't be much use in a proper battle, but they at least aren't immobile like a space station. Combining the firepower and durability of a Golan I with whatever Alderaan is good at?
Just an idea. Let me know your thoughts.
The large Monitor's non-Golan section would have generous hangar space suitable to fit up to 4 Corvettes, and repair and maintain them for extended periods, leaving the Corvettes with a local repair facility and also allowing the Monitors to surprise any would be attackers.Added (09 May 14, 9:06 AM) --------------------------------------------- But suffice to say I approve.

| As a side note before I hit the meat of the request, I feel I need to say this. Jamie, there is no chance in hell that I would approve of a moveable Golan platform.
Now, to the request.
I approve of the trading partners.
I approve of the claimed worlds and the canonically stated platforms and locations.
I also approve of all current ships listed, with the understanding that the final version of the Procurator will effectively replace the current version at such a time when it is ready.
Approved and done.
