"Medical team to hangar bay, please. Medical team to hangar bay," Captain Towani announced as he continued to watch helplessly as events unfolded outside his viewport. Well, not completely helpless. Farris's astromech droid had done a commendable job piloting her fighter and its wounded passenger into the Luminosity's hangar, and Towani had presently ordered the tractor beam to pull in the freighter's escape pod bearing Farris herself. Like the rest of that stricken ship, the pod had practically no air—this must have explained why the mysterious, wounded man hadn't simply used it himself. It was a brave thing indeed that Daneira Farris was doing for that man; Towani didn't know how long she could last in that pod, and didn't intend to find out. "Faster, Ensign!" Towani ordered. A somewhat ironic order from an Ithorian, but the need for haste was apparent even to him.

Meanwhile, a medical team should already have been arriving in the hangar to treat the mysterious, apparent sole survivor of the freighter. Like most other functions on the Luminosity, medical care was provided by the Jedi themselves. Yes, there were a handful of medical droids to perform major surgeries and a generous supply of bacta to treat serious wounds, but most of the actual staff were, in fact, Jedi, their power to heal being legendary (if somewhat imperfected, in the case of many of the Padawans. In conventional terms, the Luminosity's medical bay was what was referred to as a "teaching hospital"—with a monastic twist, of course).

But Towani's attention was focused on the escape pod. He switched over to Daneira's comm frequency, wanting to keep her focused and listening as the air in the pod became rapidly depleted. "Master Jedi, we're bringing you in," he explained, "Contact in fifteen, fourteen, thirteen..." he proceeded to count down the seconds before the pod was brought inside the safety of the Luminosity's hangar and gently set down beside Daneira's starfighter. From then, it would be up to the Jedi on the scene to tend to her and the mysterious survivor. It occurred to Towani that the man might, in fact, be a pirate rather than a victim of piracy, but he didn't worry much about security on the Luminosity; a ship full of dozens of Jedi was possibly the most secure place in the galaxy.

As soon as the escape pod ejected from the ship, something happened. The vessel would break apart into pieces as if it exploded. Space would claim the vessel and the evidence of the attack that had happened within the ship, basically making it an imagination. However Towani's computers aboard the Luminosity would have everything documented. As far as Havoc was concerned, as soon as the fighter would enter the hanger bay, the man would remain sitting there as blood continued to get all over the place.

Dani was unconcerned about the quickly waning life support in the escape pod.  It was close enough that she was able to control her breath with assistance of the Force.  She was concerned, however, about the man spewing blood inside her ship.  Had she tried to heal him there, it would have taken time, and that was a skill that she had never -quite- mastered.  It wasn't that she couldn't do it, it just wasn't her specialty.

Once the pod was reeled in, she unlatched the door and got out.  Immediately she went to her fighter, where the man was being pulled out.  "Hey!  Careful with him!"  She shouted at one of the droids, not that he could help it.

From being pulled out, the Jedi somewhat came to life. Looking up, he saw Daneira. The weak man would attempt to raise his left arm up, as if he were attempting to grab her or something. Pain had engulfed the man's body; to the point where he was unable to focus enough to allow the force to take away some of the pain. Once in medical and being placed in a operation table, one the medical droids would knock Havoc out so that way they could operate on wounds that the Jedi had suffered from the pirate attack.

"Hey." She smiled when he reached for her and she grabbed onto his hand with hers and squeezed tightly. "You're gonna be alright. I promise." Dani murmured before she turned her gaze to the medical droid that was there.

"Give him something, will you please?" She asked hurriedly, but politely. She wasn't the best healer there was, and she would never claim to be, but the least she could do was draw up the Force best she could to try and give him some peace and calm, and perhaps comfort.

Going into surgery, Havoc would be out cold for the process. Within the deep halls within his mind, it replayed the process in which caused him to be in this state at the moment...

[Guiding Light]
[Transport ship leaving near Dantooine]

"Havoc? What kind of Jedi name is that?" The co-pilot would ask as he looked through the roster list of those aboard the ship. Shrugging some, the pilot continued to pilot the ship. "Who knows. All I know is that he's on special assignment. I guess we have some special cargo." The co-pilot couldn't help but look at his partner with some confusion. "Special cargo? All we have is the standard food shipment like last month..." Shaking his head, the co-pilot would go back to checking the gauges as well as other duties given to him. However, the door leading into the cockpit would open. Standing in the doorway, was the Jedi Havoc in his robe, hands crossed within the cover of his robe. Looking at the co-pilot, Havoc grinned. "I would watch what I say about people's names..." The words would coldly exit from his mouth as he stood there, 6'4. The co-pilot would turn and lose some color in his skin as the Jedi addressed. The pilot couldn't help but smirk. "Yeah man, he'll cut your head off with his lightsaber." Havoc then turned his gaze to the pilot. "I'll cut yours off too..." He'd say coldly as well, making the pilot awkward. Taking a step inside the cockpit, the Jedi would shut the door behind him as he took a spare seat seated behind the both of them. "How long before we reach our destination?" He'd ask, as the co-pilot would look at the data-pad. "Within a few days, Master Jedi..." Havoc shook his head. "I'm no master... I barely passed the Knight trials... Havoc will do just fine. My butt doesn't need anymore lipstick on it." The co-pilot, again would look at the Jedi confused. "I swear if he didn't have identification, I wouldn't believe he was a Jedi. His mouth really needs a change..." The co-pilot would think. Yet however just when things got settled, an alarm would buzz.

"What is it?" Havoc would ask, jumping up with his right hand automatically going to his lightsaber. Walking up towards the panel, the pilot would turn towards him. "We have contact, they are sending a communication." With the touch of a button, a voice could be heard throughout the cockpit. "Attention cargo vessel, Guiding Light. We have your vessel surrounded. Turn over your cargo and prepare to be boarded. Comply and you will live. Resist and we'll play ball." The men would turn to Havoc for an answer. Revealing his hand with his lightsaber, the Jedi would give an evil grin. "Tell them I'm ready." Suddenly, the ship would rock and would fling the men around a little. Gripping onto the chair, Havoc would bark. "What was that?!" The pilot would go back onto his chair and look. "They are attacking!" Bolt after blaster bolt would strike the cargo ship in the same area. More bolts would attack the engines. Once a hole was big enough for an infiltration ship, it would hook onto the ship and start to offload pirates inside the vessel. Running towards the door, Havoc would lock it, activating his lightsaber. "Let the games begin!" His feelings would begin to go wild, all while the Force would alert him to the pirates within the vessel attempting to take it. Within a few minutes a few of them managed to get access to the ship, with some of them running towards the cargo in the back. The rest would run towards the front. Bangs could be heard on the door and then suddenly a scene no one wanted to see. "Their breaching!!!" The co-pilot would scream in fear. Havoc however, would stand there, stanced ready to go. The door would be burned through and a flash would happen. Before long blaster bolts would go flying into the air, passing by Havoc and hitting the co-pilot first. The rest however would be reflected back towards those that shot them.

The pilot would start to position the ship towards escape elsewhere. Havoc however would continue to reflect blaster bolts while cutting down pirates when the option presented itself. The pilot would call back, "Give me something!!!" Havoc got annoyed real quickly. "The Luminosity!" As he killed another pirate. However a blaster bolt would fly past Havoc (he couldn't catch them all) and strike the pilot just as he entered the coordinates. Taking cover and seeing the pilot hit, the Jedi became enraged. Suddenly, the pirates as the were reloading would find themselves being charged by a Jedi. Many would be taken out with the exception of 1, whom would fake being cut. Rushing into the back, the pirates would ambush Havoc. He would be hit with a blaster bolt in the leg. Going down, he grunted a little but fed off of his anger and charged forward. He would slash and cut, taking down many. However the 1 pirate that had faked being killed would charge up and slash Havoc as he turned around. However, he himself would find that such a close range move would warrant his death. And Havoc's anger would certainly see it through. However with the few pirates remaining, they would set their sights on the Jedi. He would simply take off his robe and throw it in the air and duck and cover. He'd watch as they would shoot his robe endlessly. The wounds he suffered hurt, but the Force would give him some relief. However the cut was deep and would require some attention.

With a throw of his saber hilt, he would catch one of the pirates, killing him. However, before long, grenades would be chucked at him and the Jedi would have limited room to move to. As the grenades exploded, shrapnel would hit the Jedi. Running out of the ammo, the remaining couple of pirates would charge the Jedi. One would die instantly, however one would get a stabbing in before he met his death. At this point, the Force would not detect anyone else and yet... would bring back the pain it had shielded Havoc from all at once. Deactivating his lightsaber, Havoc would fall to the floor. His vision would get a little blurry as he crawled towards the cockpit. With his remaining strength, he would finish the pilot's job by getting it ready to make a jump. However more rumble could be heard, as the pirates would shoot the ship. The infiltration ship could be heard detaching from the haul and within seconds the Guiding Light was soon in hyperspace. With a little relief, Havoc would crawl back towards the cargo hold. Blood trail would cover the floor as he used his strength to get him back to the cargo hold. From there, he laid on the floor. Looking at one of the dead pirates, he noticed a breathing mask. Gripping it weakly, he would place it over his face and soon drift into darkness as he would laid there.

Once the surgery was completed, Havoc would be transported to a recovery room where he would be placed. Anyone that would monitor him would notice him slightly tossing as well as sweating a bit.

While Havoc was in surgery, instead of staying and being in the way, Daneira went and got cleaned up and changed into some clothes that weren't blood stained; a pair of fitted pants, a tank top and a soft and slouchy white sweater.  She took a moment to thank the Captain and his crew for working so quickly, especially when both she and Havoc had been in danger.  To her, however, saving another life was worth risking her own.

After speaking with one of the doctors briefly, Dani slipped into the recovery room silently.  Who was this man?  He had the Force with him, that she was sure of, weak as it was at present.  She pushed a chair over next to the bed and dropped into it.  Once she noticed the tossing and turning, Dani leaned forward and grabbed his hand and squeezed it, using the Force to try and calm him down some.

"Cargo..."

That word would ring through Havoc's mind. What was the special cargo? He had no idea what it was. The information given to him was that the shipment was the regular foodstuffs for whoever was scheduled to get it. Havoc had no idea what it was. Just ensure that the special cargo on board made it to the destination. However, whatever was supposed to be special wasn't anymore. It probably was floating around in space and that would indicate a failure in his assignment... shocker. However a feeling would come to Havoc in the form of some peace. Slowly the Jedi would slightly stop moving and the sweating would go down. However, Daneira would notice that Havoc would give no grip at all.

She didn't expect him to squeeze her hand in return.  He was unconscious after all.  It seemed that her use of the Force was helping him, and that was all that mattered at the moment.  Havoc needed rest, and despite the fact that she still had no idea who he was or why he was in that ship.  Dani was sure that would all be found out soon enough.

"Just rest, alright?"  she murmured, not that he could hear her.  "I won't go anywhere...."  Dani promised as she leaned back in the chair and released his hand carefully.

Some time later, after everything that had happened, the Jedi would slowly open his eyes a little. His first words, however... not as pleasant. "Good grief..." Getting himself somewhat together a little, he would look around the room a little before he would notice Daneira sitting in a chair next to him. "You..." Havoc would say in some amazement. He knew she had saved his life from his brief moment of opening his eyes, plus he heard her voice while he recovered. Yet however, the Jedi was not used to such comforts before... he was usually in worse situations... much worse situations. And the fact that mere pirates did this to him angered him... a lot. Sighing some, he nodded. "I guess thanks are in order for saving my life... damn pirates." He would meet her gaze. "Did the Guiding Light make it?"
