| I'd like to invite Senator Pryce of Metellos and Supreme Chancellor Emeritus, Chairman of the Internal Activities Committee, Esteemed Member of the Trade Commission and Senator Vorn Adasca-Draay, Primarch of the Arkanian Dominion, Minister of Science as well as Crown Prince Ordan, Chair of the Judiciary Committee and Senator of Alderaan to take up seats on the Senate Security Committee so we might have a variety of opinion heard regarding how to deal with the Pius Dea Renegades conquering the peaceful and independent trade partner of the Republic, the Induparan Crown Worlds.
A Holomeeting will be held for those accepting the appointment in several hours (in case any being is not able to be present) so we can present a proposal to the Senate for how to resolve the crisis. Representation from the Jedi Order and Judicial Forces would be welcome also.
Senator Prentiss Cynum

| I accept. It should also be declared and noted that the Alderaanian always stands ready to defend what is best for the Republic. We fought Pius Dea tirelessly in the past and have ever been the first in the defense of the Republic as wie have the Sith and Mandalorians in the past.

| Ah yes, Pius Dea. A not insignificant cult stemming back from ancient times.
Well, at least they are tenacious.

| Always diplomacy first. Then if we run out of options. A total blockade would be a suitably minimal use of force to starve the renegades out.

| Well, while I feel we ought to wait for Senator Pryce, it strikes me that perhaps Governor Tarkin's recent and so-called 'Offer of Pardon' may be forcing our hand a bit. While it may seem generous to him, true religious zealots are more likely to come out armed with clubs and stones, even if they have not a blaster at hand. Now I'm sure he meant the best with this... gesture, but I worry he jumped the gun.
I like your train of thought, though. Diplomacy. I don't believe a blockade will do more than scatter them, which is problematic in itself. The question is... how do we get them to a point where they are willing to talk? Obviously, their Prophet is a shrewd man to be able to gather so many people so quickly. My concern is that it isn't just confined to the Seswenna Sector. They may have more supporters spread throughout the galaxy. Banning the Church of the Good Deity may just force them underground.

| Starving the ones on Indupar out seems the best way to get them to surrender.
They are Governor Tarkins citizens and so he does have the right to offer pardons. I think his offers are more than generous.
As for flushing out the cult itself, I am sure the majority of the Church are just moderate mild mannered religionists who pose no real harm once disarmed.

| Well as it transpires the Eriadu Forces seem to have had them flee from the Induparan Crown Worlds, however, their royal family was killed in the Pius Dea takeover and looting. As such I propose the Induparan Crown Worlds become a Galactic Republic Mandate. As it is a matter of security, who do you feel would be best to act as the Mandatory?

| To begin with, perhaps we ought to take a closer look at both the 'Arch-Lector' of this church and at Governor Tarkin himself. At this so-called Prophet's speech on Eriadu, Tarkin was right there with him. I don't believe we need to see Pius Dea rise again, and I'm unconvinced that the Church of the Good Deity is as harmless as we may think.

| A good suggestion, locking them down. I'm all for it. Well, perhaps this issue has been nipped in the bud before it could get any worse.
