Although Senators Kongming's and Lekpin's views concerning the Jedi Order were more satisfactory to me, you were the stronger candidate and, were I able to do so, I suspect I'd have voted for you too. But now that you've won a mandate for change, what specific changes do you intend to make in your first hundred days as Chancellor?

| Thankyou for the congratulations.
I invited the people to judge me and my success on the totality of the term.
Initially we must make many preparations and appoint many skilled beings to head up my Administration and select a groundbreaking Vice-Chancellor who is the first Colicoid to fill the post in history.
Presently I am liasing with the Judicial Forces to find more effective redistribution of their forces and to help them work with the TDF.
To start the Third Galactic Survery from where it was left off I have proposed a bill to do so, also I have filed a motion to amalgamate inefficient departments and empower the multi-partisan Trade Commission to regulate a number or Republic organizations or indeed take on their responsibilities and mothball them.
I've just passed a comprehensive anti-slavery bill I have conistently supported, which will be a Mandate for the Judicials, Local Forces and TDF to press home action against slavers and those who profit from the immoral traffic in slaves. The Member Responsibility Act just passed provides incentives for worlds to stop freebooting and renegades operating with Republic citizenship attacking others with little legal comeback on many worlds. Now worlds are compelled to use the law and other means if needed to stop their citizens engaging in these paramilitary acts against the Neutral Trade Partners of the Galactic Republic.
I will tomorrow to send a Commission to the Induparan Worlds and verify the situation there, to see if there's been a takeover and then consult with the Jedi as to the best way to stop these Pius Dea Cultists who are not only in a proscribed organization but also effectively frebooting too. If required, I would support making these worlds (if they end up with no secure government) an Autonomous Republic Protectorate for a decade while they can rebuild.
I plan to appoint an official Envoy and Resident to the Republic Colonies past Hutt Space to act as official negotiator on their behalf with the Hutts, also as an observer and advocate for these beleaguered colonies of good hard working Republic Citizens.
I am to send a Diplomatic Mission to the Ciutric Hegemony and the Cygnus Star Empire for the highest level talks possible. Specifically I wish to see the relationships made closer with both groups. The Hegemony I would see if possible as at least an allied region wheras the Cygnus Star Empire ought to be brought back into the fold as either an Autonomous Territory, Allied Region or Tributary State. I will be especially firm in using Diplomacy to bring Republic worlds from times past back into our Republic's embrace and protection, using every legal and reasonable means to do so.
Thus that's what I've done in my first week. The next 93 days will have more acts proposed to match my manifesto commitments, protect the Republic and increase prosperity, and deal with any matters of importance that come up quickly and with the assistance of the Jedi Order where required.
