Has anyone asked the Sector Governor if he was made aware a year in advance? As they were allegedly planned? What makes the Seswenna Sector so critical and special?

Chancellor Luneray Kruus

*A holo from Eriadu appeared showing Elon Tarkin looking relaxed in a comfortable high backed chair. After seeking and getting the floor.*

Gentlebeings of the Senate.

The Seswenna Sector does not object or protest this movement in any way shape or form. The notion that it could be construed as a threat is absolute nonsense. So long as the vessels continue to broadcast their locations while conducting any training exercises (in case sensors detect them and cause Planetary or Sector forces to intercept mistakenly, if for example they mistook them for pirates attacking freighters etc).

I'm sure this is most reasonable? We're happy to back our Judicial Forces to the hilt. Indeed, they're welcome to take on fuel at our docks at a discounted rate as a sign of welcome and amity to our friends in the Judicial forces. If the Judicial forces would be aided by the deployment, Eriadu indeed offers a pair of it's own corvettes to play "enemy" vessels in the event wargames are conducted.

The population of the Seswenna Sector would be happy to welcome any Judicial Forces members who are permitted to take shore leave in the Sector, and I am sure Planetary Chambers of Commerce could arrange discounts at a range of local businesses.

I trust this is all acceptable Chancellor?

Elon Tarkin

Governor of the Seswenna Sector and Eriadu

Consider my objection and vote withdrawn. I vote in favour if the Seswenna Sector is comfortable with the arrangement.

You see, Senators? Nothing is amiss.

(I think a lesser man would demand an apology, but let us move on).

The measure passes with 83% in favor and 17% opposed.

Jaso Pryce

You know. I do apologize, Chancellor Pryce. My language was unparliamentary and showed a diminished level of respect for the institution of the Chancellory and the Republic Senate. I in no way wish to denigrate or bring into disrepute the Republic Senate as an institution. I do not, however, apologize for my sentiment, which I reaffirm.

Verence Terrawin
