| Supreme Chancellor,
I'd like to ask for an update on the Sepan Civil War and ask what steps are being taken to bring it to a hasty end?

| The Republic is closely monitoring events in the Sepan system. While I have not yet determined that it is a "civil war," it is important that we prevent it from becoming one. To this end, I have urged restraint on both the Dimoks and the Ripoblus and I am currently pursuing a treaty with the governments of the surrounding Ombakond, Surron, and Hilo sectors, and the worlds of the nearby Gamor Run, to prevent any sudden influx of weapons to the Sepan system. I have also made the services of the Ministry of State available to the Dimoks and the Ripoblus to help broker a peaceful solution to their differences, but at this point in the conflict it's my view that a Jedi mission to the Sepan system stands the best chance of success in ending the looming prospect of war.
