| Torres shook his head briefly, though acknowledging Kruus' offer. "I have a vessel on loan to me as a personal shuttle for the moment; I don't believe I will necessitate additional vessels from Lorrd. I place enough faith in the Judicial Forces to keep me safe and hale during these negotiations."

| Kerethon slid out of the shadows several meters from Torres and behind his swivellable chair where he had been keeping his brown robed presence quiet, not with force use simply waiting with perfect stillness in a dim alcove allowed him to have an ability to conceal without even the gift of the force, seemingly now blending into the foreground. He slid swiftly on his toned musculature in between the desk and seats in one of which Torres sat.
"Greetings. I am Kerethon, Jedi Knight, I have been attached to the Diplomatic Service on a semi-permanent posting. If you believe your life is in danger and you risk mutilation as you suggested earlier it would be my pleasure and duty to accompany your mission if you feel unsafe, Senator."
At his waist hung a lightsaber and various medical salves for use in emergencies. "Although the Chancellor informs me that he would wish you to conduct any negotiations even if I was present so I would simply observe discretely. If not then please feel free to request my aid if ever in need on any diplomatic matters or those of archaeology", he gave a slight bow "My small and petty specialty areas of study"

| Demaron Torres was not a man easily startled, but he twitched in surprise as the Hutt emerged into the light. Watching him for a moment, Torres was unsure whether to be taken slightly aback at the presence of a Huttese Jedi, or feel a sense of amusement, for one didn't picture a Hutt as Jedi. Torres settled for somewhere in-between, as quietly cautious.
"Well, Knight Kerethon, it is, as the Chancellor has outlined, a diplomatic mission. Still, I'd not wish to take you away from more important duties. However, if it is within your mandate, I believe the additional presence of a Jedi Knight would close out any real chance of hostilities within the Hegemony. Between two mediators, a Judicial fleet and a Jedi, we ought to be relatively safe."
