The Kerubielite Eviscerator-class ships Torment and Agony moved toward the Ruisto rendezvous point. Awaiting their allied support before they made the final jump in to attack, the timing had to be perfect as the longer they waited for the Mercenaries the longer they risked their own destruction.
The two ships kept their drives warm and ready to jump to attack the Calamarian docks at Ruisto at zero hour. It was to be an in-out affair with little glamour. A simple attack on another helpless people to spread fear and despondency. But this time with allied forces how could they fail?

The Eviscerators would show hull problems and begin to disintegrate as it accelerated toward the Calamari ships. Everyone onboard simultaniously died due to a poison placed in the air filters, a short acting uncommon one only he, Kerubiel, had immunized himself to. As the ship broke up he sealed his vacuum suit and climbed out onto the bladed hull as it disintegrated. He carried a vicious blade and fired a repulsor on his suit's backpack, floating him away from the wreck and activated a distress beacon. He was a sitting duck for Ruisto law enforcement.
His allies presumably would run.
