"So we have all decided to agree upon this, yes?"

Vorn Adasca-Draay's voice cut through the chatter of four different species' voices as nearly twelve different beings settled down around the large, highly polished table of wroshyr wood. With his arms and elbows before him, hands clasped and dressed in an immaculate white suit and vest, Vorn represented the perfect picture of calm and poise. Slowly, the argument died out as the differed faces turned towards him. There were two Yaka, as to be expected. Their presence here was a formality, yet one Vorn saw as important. Despite being closely tied to Arkania, and thereby, to him, they were a binding force in bringing six others to the table. These six smaller forms, clad in battle armor, were the representatives of six distinct Gank clans, all who wished to be 'upgraded.' Whether from fear or shame, they'd not wanted to approach the Arkanian Dominion directly and had worked through the Yaka, much to Vorn's eventual pleasure when he'd learned. The Gank clans in question had since been brought on board and were more than welcome to work with his ideas, in exchange for newer cybernetic enhancements and technological items.

The last two races were a surprise to find. Two were Quermian, which was pleasing in the fact that Arkania was, in a way, their creator. Though many were peace-loving and philosophical, there were always dissidents; these two spoke for a somewhat small group of them. Last, but not least, were a pair of Xexto, genetic cousins to the Quermians and from which Quermian stock had been created. Polite, well-mannered and with a dislike of the Republic which was easily exploited, they'd been easy enough for Vorn to wrap his threads around.

"From the sounds of your varied argument, I can tell you all have your concerns. Nothing is perfect, after all, but it is my job to see that events come to a culmination. We have worked long and hard at getting this far; I see no reason not to proceed." Vorn paused, looking at each being there, slowly and deliberately. "We will proceed, but the next step falls upon myself. Keep in mind what you have all promised to do at this meeting, and make sure it gets done. We will meet back here within the next six standard months, my friends, and then the first promises I've made will be kept."

Pushing back his chair, Vorn signaled that the meeting was over. Now, he could concentrate on his own goals.
