| Down below, in Port Wylan, the defenders prepared for a siege. Some committed ritual suicide, though, while others surreptitiously dropped poison into the city's water supply and disengaged the water filters in whatever filtration plants there were. Yet others worked to sabotage key systems here and there, booby trapping everything and anything that would help the city function. All the while, they waited.

| "Mandalorian ships we are moving into position to support your assault. Forces indicate the air is clear, we've fighters ready to escort you down and we're forming up on your landing ship to assure no Pius Dea suicide ships can get close if there are any more.. " Came Emperor Jamulon's voice over the communicator to the Mandos... as for the Huttese and Cygnus Force, they formed up with the fighters swarming in a singly cloud to pass around the Mandalorian Carrier ready to help escort in the first wave of Mandalorian dropships, moving close and lining up parallel nearby courses so they could theoretically streak close by and form up around the first assault wave in a neat looking maneuver.
The Resolute-class ships moved up to either side of the carrier, a pair on each, providing an escort in the case of Ambushes with the Maurauder-class and it's two ILK Civilian Cruisers patrolling to the rear. Jamulon Tiure's Surronian Cruiser waited in front of the Mandalorian Carrier (to join the assault party if it was launched) while the Alderaan-class war frigate took up defensive positions behind it.

The Fighters all attacked with their full armament, targeting the Mandalorian escort corvettes and causing the sky to light up for a moment with sheer volume of torpedoes and concussion missiles fire. Simultaniously tractor beams would lock onto them from the Resolute-class or Surronian ship nearby, the objective was to wipe out these corvettes. The fighters would come back ground to launch a full all-out onslaught on the two Mandalorian carriers.
The Resolute class-ships simultaniously with the fighter strike opened fire with their gunnery batteries, along with the Alderaanian war frigate and Surronian designed saucer under Jamie's command. They were backstabbing their allies pretty brutally and using massively superior firepower in order to batter down their shields.
As soon as the shields were down the fire would be switched to Ion weaponary to continue the bombardment... seeking the disabling the craft rather than their destruction. Primary targets for ion weapons would be propulsion, launch bays, any weapons able to return fire etc. The aim was to cripple or destroy the escort corvettes and cripple the two carriers in one fell swoop. From there they would remove the Mandalorian crew and gain several powerful ships.
They'd been useless allies but they might make useful suppliers of craft.
