| Darwin has always felt he didn't belong entirely to the Jedi Order. He didn't have an answer to that feeling. The young man has always felt like the Jedi was holding something back. His instincts proved fruitful, once he had the answer. It was a link to the past, one that led him to training to become a Jedi. That was only because he did not know the truth. The truth made him left the Order. For one purpose. To follow in the path of his father's. Apparently, he was the last of his father's order. Darwin decided that to try and reestablish his father's order of assassins and to follow in their code was perhaps a bit too crude.
Rather than being viewed as the last of the old order, Darwin decided to rebrand himself as the first of the new order. One whose assassins could serve a noble purpose: To serve and to protect the Republic from external and internal threats alike and deal with them whatever necessary from the shadows. Because of the nature of the job, he have had made enemies and frienemies along the way. Especially when Darwin thought it was okay to utilize a couple of lightsabers and call on to the both sides of the Force to assist the Republic.
Presently, he was trying to get his hand on one of the strongholds currently on the market by Jamie the Hutt. The objective was to get a "top-secret" base of operations for the new Order. For the moment, his only ally was Kaylie, his childhood friend. Darwin would be inside his freighter, preparing himself for upcoming mission. Currently, the freighter was docked at one of the hangar bays of Nar Shaddaa. He was latching both of his lightsabers to the belt, making sure the hidden knife was tucked away inside a small wristband of which was also covered by his white cloak. He rarely had the need to use weapons that sputters out laser bolts, preferring to rely on melee weapons. Darwin loved close quarters combat. That was the way his Order was supposed to be taught. After he had finished gearing up, he pulled the white hood to cover the most of his head...leaving only his face exposed.
"Ready, Kay?" He asked, as the unique assassin would begin to walk out of the galley and headed for the cockpit. His objective was to track down Jamie the Hutt. Darwin thought the shit management owned by the fat slug on Nar Shaddaa was as good of a start as any. Obviously, Darwin had been aware of the actions the fat slug had done to the Republic in the past. With all the assets he currently has, Darwin would consider Jamie the Hutt a threat to the Republic. There would be a time to start ruining his operations, but that time isn't now. The assassin had come to see if he could strike a deal with Jamie the Hutt and acquire that lair in that frozen tundra of a planet. The young assassin was pretty certain there would be a catch, and doing a little dirty business could go a long way toward the expansion of his new Order of assassins.

| "Ready? Yeah...sure...." Kaylie said as she pulled herself from under the console in the cockpit. "I really can't figure out how you've kept this thing in the air as long as you have. The wiring looks like its been chewed through." She said as she stood and discarded some wiring she had replaced. The girl brushed some of the dirt from the floor off of her clothes.
And then she realized she had no idea what she was supposed to be ready for. "Wait. Ready for what?" She asked as she picked up her jacket and slid it over her shoulders and put her arms into it. "Did you tell me and I forgot?" Kaylie pulled her hair back into a ponytail and smiled some. "Oh wait....slugs....no...yeah. Slugs." She offered him a smile and made a motion for the door. "Let's go."

| Indeed, his ship were not without faults. However, in time, his Order of Assassins would expand. That may have a direct or indirect impact on his financials, which may foresee a better ship in the future. For now, the ragged-down freighter would have to do. It was still very space-worthy, just has a lot of standard maintenance troubles. Darwin shook at Kaylie, "Kay, I didn't tell you what we were supposed to be doing at the moment." Darwin does have a tendency not to keep his company in the loop, instead liking to make decisions for himself. That stemmed from being alone for a long while, and it was something he has to work on in order to keep Kaylie around.
The Force-used assassin would make for the landing ramp, with Kaylie not being far behind. "Ah, this is Nar Shaddaa. There's no other place that is more famous for scum and villainy than Nar Shaddaa. Did you know Nar Shaddaa means glorious jewel in Huttese? The smell and the landscape says otherwise. Whew." The former Jedi Knight would take a look left and right once, and connected his combat boots onto the cold, hard permacrete floor. He moved his gaze toward his childhood friend. "Eyes open. We're here to find a fat slug and to strike a bargain with him. Don't be surprised if we got Gamorrean stupidity and Weequay fierceness in the way, though. That's why we have weapons, more than one kind of weapons that is." Darwin smiled at Kaylie, continuing to wonder how she was able to escape the slavers after all those years. Perhaps, some of the slavers were loosening up and she took advantage of that particular moment of weakness.
