Character Background and Chommell ImpEx, Inc.

| Before I post my profile, I wanted to request some background information about the character. Namely, I ask that Cambrist be Lord Mayor of the township of New Centrif on Naboo. It's a small farming community, fairly inconsequential in the canon. But it would be my way of establishing Cambrist as part of the Naboo aristocracy. He would feel as though Naboo is too small for his ambitions, however, and would spend a lot of time on Chommell Minor, where his company, Chommell ImpEx, Inc., is located.
Chommell ImpEx (an intentionally unimaginative name standing for "Chommell Imports and Exports, Inc.") would consist of Cambrist and an NPC business partner on Chommell Minor as the shareholders and executives of the small company. It would own 2 used G9 Rigger freighters, one of which is in need of repair and inoperable in the company's hangar on Chommell Minor.
The reason for so few ships is I want to actually employ other people in the RP. I've observed three independent ship owners/operators already in the RP, and perhaps there will be more. I think it would be good to involve other people in the success or failure of this company rather than RPing it in a vaccuum in which it is insulated from RP events or the possibility of failure. Previous versions of Cambrist were too unassailable, and this time around I want to invite RP rather than discourage it.

| Chommell ImpEx, for some strange reason, makes me think of an antacid, or a laxative. Not quite sure why, to be honest; perhaps it stems from me not feeling too hot at the moment. Regardless, it sounds good, as do the G9 Rigger freighters; I always felt the G9 didn't get used enough in roleplay. It's a perfect blend of firepower and carrying ability with a dash of odd panache in its shape. But, I digress.
Including others in the roleplay is commendable as well, so without further ado:

| I agree with Mike. I think this idea of involving other characters and bringing things down to that personal level is what this RP is all about. However, just a note to whom it may concern; we've resolved to be unfavorably disposed to characters who are involved in government and business and crime, etc. I think it's fine in this case, because New Centrif is a small town and in my opinion there isn't much power gained from that position, and also because the business in this case is so modest. So indeed, I have no problem with this. No objection from Jaron either, so it looks like it's APPROVED.
