When he said her name, her actual given name, Daneira froze for a moment and slowly turned her gaze back to the Padawan.  In that brief moment, in the breath that it took for Jace to say her name, Daneira knew that he realized who she was and why her mind had been so scattered when he walked in on her.  Had he asked her about it, she would have been honest.  Bellassa was over a year ago, but the Order had hardly told the full story of what happened there, though perhaps they didn't know all of it.

She snapped out of that moment of paralysis when he spoke again, and his words almost made her smile.  "Oh.  Oh uh sure....if you go back out that door and to the left, you'll find it on the right side at the end of the corridor."  Dani said, somewhat relieved that he didn't want to ask about her past.  It wasn't exactly something that she was ready to talk about with anyone that wasn't there.  She wasn't a hero, like Karth, she had just done her job and lost someone precious to her in the process.  That fact alone had brought her to realize why forming attachments was forbidden.

While they were forbidden, she still couldn't bring herself to cut ties with Karth De'Qora; her oldest, dearest friend.  Soon enough, she knew he would be back on the Luminosity and maybe then she could relax a little.  "Like I said, Jace, if you need anything, don't hesitate to come and find me.  I'll do what I can to help you.  That goes for you too, Darwin."

At this moment, which was likely a decidedly awkward one for those in the room, a very strange looking Jedi walked into the room. He had an appearance that denoted reptillian features, but were one to speak to him, his voice was feline in nature, albeit gravelly. To add to the odd appearance, he was short and stocky, especially compared to most average Jedi. The Noghri, his species likely being unknown to all in the room, was only a day into his stay aboard the ship, having come over with Master Tching.

He had spent his first day merely wandering and exploring the ship, similar to Jace. There interactions likely parted ways, however, at the social level. Whereas Jace was awkward around others, R'khakh was shy but open. He didn't say much, but he enjoyed meeting and interacting with countless individuals; it was perhaps due to his background and the world he had come from. His footsteps, however, were silent. Like an assassin, he moved silently through the ship, scaring countless members of the crew. This moment was no exception, as he likely moved in on the group unnoticed, and simply made his presence known by saying, "My apologies, is this room taken?" He had no problem utilizing a room at the same time as others, but was more than happy to find an unoccupied meditation room were the individuals within seeking isolation or privacy.

The Jedi Padawan would look at Jace, indeed having felt awkward as much as his peer has the previous moment. That awkwardness had already been thrown out the window once he had his gaze locked upon the stars. Oh yes. Darwin had seen Jace from the flying lessons he took under Master Koon. The fellow Padawan had some respect for Jace's flying ability, but had never spoken to him. Not beyond the typical one-liners such as, "Oh, that was a nice roll.", or "Nice maneuver you got there." The Padawan would be eager to test his ability against Jace's, but that wouldn't happen this day. Perhaps someday soon. Perhaps when they're bored. His dream was to build a customized starfighter of his own, because he was not satisfied with the current Whitecloak. Daniera? It had just occurred to him that she may be the very same Jedi that had foiled a Dark Jedi Conspiracy on Bellassa. However, he did not bother to even bring it up. Perhaps because he did not care about who had stopped them, for as long as their natural enemies were stopped.

Darwin simply nodded at Daniera when she said not to hesitate to ask her for help, about to turn around and leave the room. That was the moment he paused a little bit, spotting a Noghri standing in front of him no more than several feet apart. Not that Darwin knew what species this Jedi Knight originated from, though. That was the reason for the pause, not because he was scared but because he was curious. He had forgetten for a moment that this non-human was indeed a Jedi Knight, and it did took him a moment before realizing he was supposed to bow down out of respect. Of which he did...slowly. "No, you are more than welcomed to enter the room." The Padawan didn't want to leave the room, opting to get himself acquainted with the Jedi Knight.

"Padawan Darwin Sky at your service."
