Mr. Cambrist,

Senator Amidala is continuing to stall the ministry cuts in the Senate. The Techno Union is not satisfied with your progress, Mr. Cambrist, not satisfied at all. We demand to know what you intend to do to persuade the Senator to reconsider her position. If she doesn't, the Techno Union may reconsider its relationship with you, Sir.

Foreman Nisko,

Senator Amidala is only delaying the inevitable, and she won't delay it much longer. She is opinionated about this measure, but she's on Coruscant to represent all the people of the Chommell Sector, not herself. She also serves at the pleasure of Queen Jamilia, and if the Queen's advisory council were to endorse the measure, I'm certain that Jamilia would direct Senator Amidala to do the same.

However, the Queen's advisory council has been stubborn, especially Mr. Antar Ilyone. I have befriended Mr. Ilyone, who is rumored to have the Queen's ear. He is also incorruptible, so the usual means of persuasion aren't an option. Having spent some time with the man, it is clear that there is nothing on Naboo he cares for more than his daughter, Ilanah. If something were to happen to her, or if there were to be a credible threat of something happening to her, I think he could be persuaded to change his priorities.

But I'm a mayor and a small businessman, Mr. Nisko. I simply don't do such things, or consort with anyone who does. I'm not a Sith. I've done all I reasonably can for you, but this is one detail you'll need to see to yourself. In the meantime, I'll continue to do what I reasonably can.

Good day, Sir.

Mr. Cambrist,

See that you do. In the meantime, you've given me an idea.

We'll be in touch.
