At the Naboo inbound jump point, around fifteen minutes after the arrival of the earlier diplomatic message the personal prestige vessel of Chief Brand Officer Kruus slid into realspace. The vessel was the first armed Trade Federation ship to be seen in the system for a decade but as its shields were down the Naboo sensors would be able to detect that the weapons were not charged.

The Heavy Munitions Cruiser opened communications to the Naboo. "This is Captain Tay Lofine of the Trade Federation Hauler 'Acquisitive' here carrying a member of the Directorate of the Trade Federation and his retinue, to speak to the Queen or her appointed delegates regarding restoring amity between your world and our company."

The ship continued along the normal approach vector toward Naboo at a fairly ponderous pace. On the hull were projected a number of friendly symbols and joyous celebrations of shared sentience and cooperation.

Aboard the bridge there was gentle murmuring as Kruus paced by the forward viewing port. There was still a good deal of bad feeling toward the Naboo and the bridge crew would sooner be here for battle than to redress the wrongs of the past. The Neimoidian flight officer cadre was a small one (as the ships had relatively few flight crew each) and a couple of those aboard the bridge had trained with those who had been aboard the Vuutun Palaa which the Naboo had so callously destroyed.

While they were not overtly in preparation for battle, there were regardless the thirty Vulture Droids who inhabited their niches in the roof of the main hangar that were completing pre-flight checks and being loaded with fuel cells and armed in the event they might be required. As they approached, Luneray Kruus moved over to the active holographic communications by the bridge blast doors and opened the channel, awaiting the Naboo response.

The Blended Jade was in orbit of Naboo when the Acquisitive arrived. The pilot took note of the arriving vessel, which was indeed a strange thing to see in this part of the galaxy where the Trade Federation was not precisely welcome. Presuming that the Trade Federation had not encrypted their signal, the Blended Jade would be listening in to catch anything interesting; information and gossip were often as useful as wealth in the galaxy. For now, Rex simply continued to relax in his cabin and awaited any new word from the pilot.

(( A temporary, indefinite extension of the 4-day posting rule is in effect on this thread on behalf of Naboo's leadership, pending resolution of this issue. ))

"Patch him through, Mae.  Though I cannot begin to fathom what he wants.  I thought that we resolved this discussion in our communication."  He said, though he was no angry nor annoyed.  Antar shuffled the papers on his desk and placed them neatly into a drawer before he stood and straightened his silver-grey tie and tightened the knot carefully.  Once the holo flickered to life, Antar cleared his throat.

"Mr. Kruus, what is it that I can do for you?  Have you changed your mind about coming planetside?"  He inquired, though he was sure that the answer would be no.  "I plan on being in Theed for the next few days if the city is more acceptable to your delicate sensibilities?  Much flatter there, of course.  I am afraid that the Queen has extended her trip, so you will be dealing with me.  I hope that is not too inconvenient to you."
