| As we know, Rule 5.3 prohibits a new Senate character from voting on a bill that was already in progress at the time they became a Senator. The reason for that is to prevent people from creating new Senators to vote simply on a certain bill. I was thinking we should apply Rule 5.3 to the entire election campaign period. The date of the election has been set (April 25th), so even though the vote itself hasn't started yet, really it seems to me the whole campaign should be subject to this just so new Senate characters aren't created between now and April 25th simply to be able to influence the election. I'm not accusing anyone of this, mind you. But I've heard rumors and figured it'd be better to get out in front of this. What does everyone think?

| That seems perfectly reasonable. Perhaps we can get in touch with Erik and get his proxy vote as well, even though he is on hiatus?
As well, we should fully establish who is running and who isn't, at some point.

| Nobody has declared yet, other than Pryce. Kruus, Kongming, and Finbar seem to be working out which one of them is going to run. But I agree, with 25 days until the election, the sooner the better. (In case anyone is wondering, I choose not to run).
