| I would like to revise Darwin's current storyline. The Order of Assassins isn't really working out, and I have yet to find an opportunity to enter his merry band of assassins into the RP. So, an idea came to me while I was talking with one of the characters over the messenger. Darwin would still utilize the same profession and abilities, just that this time he is better equipped to fight in the open warfare. Instead of leading the Order of Assassin, I would like to request that Darwin lead a canon organization called The Force Warriors.
Again, the numbers I won't know until I do actual recruiting and the fact that Darwin is the lone Force User is still the case. The same objective remains, just less shadowy. He would be able to use his "army" to assist the Republic in combating their threats.

| See, I like this idea. Force Warriors as a take-off of the Jedi, but not specifically part of the Jedi Order, which isn't unheard of.
As a note, is Darwin still a Padawan in the Jedi Order? Or is he a Padawan who departed the Jedi Order?
I'm quite in favor of this idea; incidentally, if you wanted to start off with, say, five (5) like-wise trained Force Warriors (possibly other Padawans who left the Order?), I'd be open to that too so Darwin isn't quite as 'alone.'

| My bad, I meant Freedom Warriors. I wanted Darwin to remain the lone Force user. The rest of the faction would be non-force sensitive special-trained soldiers that are dedicated to assisting the Republic in eliminating their threats. However, the Freedom Warriors would be open to other RPers that happen to be force users to get involved in the organization.
To answer your question, Darwin was a Padawan that departed from the Jedi Order.

Freedom Warriors it is, then! I am fully in approval of it.
If you'd like to actively recruit, that's just fine. However, I'd be willing to grant some starting items?
I'd approve up to (100) one-hundred fighters (equipped as you like, but please post equipment here, for a rough idea) and a transport or two.

| I'm going to vote for no actual numbers to be decided for now (if they represent the entirety of the force). Perhaps the ability to deploy 100 aggressively at this moment, but there's an element of a SL which plans extensive recruitment funded by a source who will become apparent, for a special purpose in the divisional type numbers. But as with all ground forces lets go case by case. Their recruitment will also become apparent when it happens. However; I think as he's simply requesting the organization's ownership we dont need to go into details for actual troop numbers for the force's whole size yet.

| He intends it to have been very warm in the past, being deployed alongside the Jedi in the Excision and as bodyguards to help them from being attacked if it was say a healer on a word at war with the Republic, but the organization to have fallen away into obscurity only kept in contact with by the more ancient Masters such as Yoda or more well read like Kadek.
Essentially, the request is for them to have a renaissance from their nadir around now (maybe 1000 in 10 companies galaxy wide) with a new idealist leader bringing in people, especially borderline force sensitives who it is then helpful to keep an eye on. Kadek would be appointing a Knight to be the Watchman over their home base (officially just observing), seek out trouble and to vet recruits for being darkside infiltrators.
When re-strengthened up to a couple of regiments in size (likely with funding from Enthusiastic Core Worlds) and eventually possibly divisional strength, Warrior Masters, although not officially commanding them, might have use for such a force. They'd name this flowering that would occur after approval of the request and RP to be their "Second Founding". Naturally, like the Atrisian Rangers theyd be officially kept at arms length unless it was a Chancellor who approves of such forces, as Kruus does for example. But theyd be kept off Republic paperwork.

| (I posted already on this request but I lost it because the site keeps timing out on me. I'm going to try to reconstruct my post from memory here—at half-past 12 in the morning).
I appreciate that overview. Going forward though I think I'll probably need to hear from Darwin on this request so I know he's still interested in pursuing this idea. I'm not enthusiastic about approving requests that the requester isn't particularly interested in, especially if it appears to be intended to serve someone else's purposes in the RP. In any case, give me another day on this request; I bought the sourcebook in which these "Freedom Warriors" appear. It was delivered today, but I'm in a motel right now so I won't pick up the book until tomorrow.
