| I'd like to request that Alsakan is able to headhunt any disaffected Quarren and Mon Calamari designers from Mon Calamari shipyards (mostly Quarren) by seducing then with lucrative posts at the newly opened "Rim2Core" "Innovation Development Partnership", which would be Co-Sponsored by the Techno Union.
This design studio would encourage total freedom of thought for these personnel letting them work on their own chosen projects, paying each a good salary in addition to a lucrative royalty if the designs were purchased. This would allow the development of new designs with a traditionally Mon Cal flare.
The creation of the agency would probably make Mon Calamari shipyards quite cross and cause a small diplomatic incident between Alsakan and Mon Calamari. This would be used to help the Alsakan Navy produce new models with the design flare the Quarren and Mon Cal produce.

| I'm not averse to granting the Quarren part, but asking for Mon Calamari designers without their player's input is sort of stealing from his backyard, so to speak, in my opinion.
Not against the idea at all, though. Get me an okay from Finbar or Treslar and I'm willing to okay the poaching of shipwrights.

| I APPROVE of this since Mon Calamari is going to be phased out of the RP soon, provided that the Calamari/Quarren design elements are subtle (to be adjudged on a case-by-case basis, naturally).
But be aware I don't intend to re-visit Alsakan's fleet anytime soon.
