I would like to propose that Crown Prince Ordan of Alderaan and Queen Violetta den Tasia of Grizmallt marry to unite their ancient houses, securing the Ordan-Organa grip on power in decades to come with Grizmallt help, while granting the Queen who is known to suffer from depression to retire from duties and take up a comfortable rural life while her husband runs the business of state for both worlds.
The pact would in fact be Ordan cynically taking advantage of a depressed family friend's misery and using it to his advantage, but since she would be a woman who would be exhausted by the affairs of state and keen to return to simplicity his offer really is a good offer in a certain light.
Many on Grizmallt and some on Alderaan would grumble about this marriage of convenience, but the strength forged in such a marital union was unquestionable.
In another marriage Emir Kadram of Rothana would marry the Duchess of the Ciutric Hegemony, Lorelia Pestage, to tighten his worlds grip on their shipping market more than love.
