| Being what he is (rather rich), Quintus needs a vessel that can get around quickly.
Drawing off old designs and new patterns from the Empress Teta shipyards, Quintus would commission the following craft.
Designation- Single-production light transport Name- Regal-class light transport Length: 18.9 meters Width: 7.5 meters Height: 4 meters Crew: 1 Passengers: - 1x Optional pilot droid
- 1x Medical droid
Hyperdrive: Class 1.5 Reserve Hyperdrive- Class 10 MGLT: 75 Atmospheric Speed- 1,000 km/h Cargo: 285.7 kg (630 lbs) Consumables: 1 months Shielding- Equipped Compliment: - 1x Escape Pod (small and cramped)
Armament: - 2x Fire-linked light ion cannons ('chin' mounted, under cockpit)
- 4x ShieldBuster torpedo launchers (2 'prong' mounted, forward-firing)
- 2x Quad laser cannon turrets (mounted on wingtips)
- 1x retractable blaster cannon (ventral, 360 degree angle)

| It's very Sienar looking, whats the explanation for this?
Also, for a 20m long ship pretty heavily armed. Do you have any suggestions what your most important say 3 weapon systems are?

| I can always increase the length, if need be.
As for the look, might as well call it a look taken from old artwork and holo-images and designed with that in mind, as well as a nod to the Koros Spaceworks interceptor.
I'm not going to sit and suggest which weapon systems are more important than others. If I sit and take the time, I'm sure I could find a number of ships under 30 meters that are just as well armed in their own way. Take for example the YV-929 armed freighter, which is far more heavily armed.

| "Corellian Engineering Corporation, not content with their huge successes with the YT series line, began the YV series during the time of the rise of the Empire."
The vessel you name isn't around yet.. but I am concerned about the armament on this thing. Make it 60m and slow it down 5MGLT and it'd be fine.
As far as I am concerned Koros Spaceworks and it's copying of the proper star wars aesthetic on their ships to sell a game isn't a reasonable precedent. I'd prefer it to be based on corporate espionage from Sienar or in homage to Sienar stuff perhaps.Added (05 April 14, 10:53 PM) --------------------------------------------- Aeon Ranger is about the limit in armament on craft this size without them having big downsides.

| For what it's worth, this vessel has been approved before in AGW with far higher armaments and altered statistics. This is actually a somewhat toned-down version.
As for the history of why it looks the way it does, providing it isn't unreasonable, why does it have to be as per your version, out of curiosity?

| For the reason its the most heavily armed period constructed freighter circa 20m long that I could find browsing my soucebooks.
The personal implication is a bit distasteful there Stark. You're requesting what is in length and most dimensions a starfighter (or 5m longer than a lot of period fighters) ergo I do have some issues with a fundamentally fighter sized craft being armed like a good deal of patrol boats and other ships twice its length.

| Just this once, as an homage to the old Koros Spaceworks designs, I'm okay with the aesthetic look of this ship, provided it's a personal ship that won't be mass-produced. I share some apprehension about the armament, however. Past experience has shown that, although it's a personal ship, Starks are cautious folk who tend to have additional ships not far away just in case they need them, and if push comes to shove I don't see this ever being caught in a battle all by itself. But regardless, Jamie's right that it's also a bit heavily-armed for a ship of this scale in this era. Here's what I propose:
• 2 fire-linked light ion cannons ("chin" mounted, under cockpit) • 2 quad laser cannon turrets (mounted on wingtips) • 4 ShieldBuster torpedo launchers (2 "prong" mounted, forward-firing) • 1 retractable blaster cannon (dorsal, rear-firing)

| Actually I may have been hasty on armament. It's not drastically gunnier than the RX4 Patrol Craft (Oh god I've been at my source books again haven't I?)
I'd like to improve on Jace's weapon loadout • 2 fire-linked light ion cannons ("chin" mounted, under cockpit) • 2 quad laser cannon turrets (mounted on wingtips) • 4 ShieldBuster torpedo launchers (2 "prong" mounted, forward-firing) • 1 retractable blaster cannon (ventral, 360 degree angle) - I think you want this as an anti-infantry weapon if needed correct? If so making it on the bottom and being able to spin 360 gives it a bigger edge.

| Willing to approve. And also apologize if you felt I was being harsh on your design; I misunderstood and assumed it might go to market/wider use.

| The edits have been made to the weaponry, and Jamie is correct, though, being a ventral weapon, I suppose it can serve both in the manner Jace and Jamie established.
This is a single-production craft, I'll restate, and thank you for looking it over gentlemen.
