| Above Drongar would be constructed a processing and storage facility, for the storage and processing of bota, as well as crew rotations from the planetary surface and back.
1x Armored defense platform would be erected to maintain safety and security, backed by a single squadron of R-41 Starchasers, stationed on the station (pardon the pun).
If you'd like me to request all the ground stuff, let me know, but since it's not military-related, I figure the above should be good.

| I think manning an Armoured Defense Platform, not to mention supplying it, is a big undertaking for Lorrd (not to mention buying it)... How is this all financed?
Not to mention the other platform and surface personnel.. How many are there and split between space and ground how?
The costs here are extremely high. As I see it it would be quite an undertaking for the TF or a Core Founder to send such a major undertaking so far off the normal areas of operation of big freighters..

| Harvesting the entire planet simultaneously would indeed be a tremendous feat, and, as you say, quite an undertaking. Harvesting a section at a time, though? Far from impossible.
Now Lorrd is not a world lacking in wealth, mind you, and a joint undertaking from the three Houses, including allied help from Lorrd's allies in the Kanz Sector could easily float an armored defense platform, which, by and far, seems to be the cheapest platform floating around. It also helps that Lorrd doesn't have a lot of cash tied up in major projects and such at the moment. As well, the other platform isn't exactly an armored battlestation. It's a processing plant. In regards to personnel, I haven't quite run numbers yet, but I don't see there being thousands of people on the surface.

| It's expensive, sure, but not prohibitively so for Lorrd, I don't think. But I do think it'd be getting somewhat ahead of the events of the RP to approve of this request now. So far in the Drongar therad, the Lorrdian facilities have been portrayed as under construction, and I think that's fine for the time being. Once Drongar's legal status has been resolved in the RP and once Lorrd has been there for more than just 2 or 3 IC days, I'd be fine with re-visiting this request. I agree it's somewhat premature at this moment though.

| In reference to this post, and to help close up this request, I would like the following actions:
1) The armored defense platform be given to Argazda. Being jointly paid for, Lorrd would sell its share to Argazda, who would erect the facility at their home planet for a customs station and defense. Turning over the platform as well serves to foster further working relationships between the two worlds.
2) The processing facility would be sold at cost to a non-affiliated NPC world and, for all intents and purposes, exit the RP.
3) The squadron (12x) of R-41 Starchasers would be donated to the Ereesus Planetary Defense Forces to help foster good relations and give more modernized craft to Ereesus.
