Honestly it's just slowing you down so I will try one last compromise. You can have it remove its pods temporarily and carry two Proton Rockets on the pods underslung hardpoints.
I'd be prepared to entertain them having instead of Warhead Launchers firing Proton Rockets a pair of Hard-points (which usually hold the launchers) that can each carry 1 Proton Rocket (so 2 Proton Rockets on hardpoints total).
However, exposed to the void of space, even glancing hits on this ordnance will destroy the bomber and likely the craft around it... Also be aware Proton Rockets do not have a guidance system and go in a straight line when fired. Extreme caution needs to be used with their deployment as their blast radius alone can damage friendly craft, not to mention the possibility of hitting friendly capital ships if there's a dense engagement.
Meaning Total Armament Options
Proton Torpedo Loadout
2 Pods of 3 Proton Torps = 6 total
Proton Bomb Loadout
2 Pods of 1 Proton Bomb = 2 Total
Concussion Missile Loadout
2 Pods of 4 Concussion Missile = 8 Total
Proton Rocket Loadout
Pods removed, 2 Proton Rockets mounted instead = 2 Proton Rockets total
Also a cautionary tale: any ship carrying thousands of Torpedoes, Missiles and worse Rockets and Bombs are extremely at risk of blowing apart from relatively minor hull breaches (if for example in the Hangar of a Munifex-class you had half a dozen Proton Rockets ready to be loaded and a laser blast broke through the hull or hangar deflector - no more ship. Loading these weapons does involve exposing their interiors to prime them, and during stages like this theyre massively risky.
So it'd not be wise to have these heavier weapon armaments if launching from a Station or Ship... far better suited to a hangar with a well coordinated magazine several hundred feet below. Remember. A proton bomb going off inside most ships superstructures = no ship.

| You do try a gentleman's patience sorely Mr Stark! But I forgive you for the flavour and flare you bring to the place. I'll leave my offer of options to arm the bomber up for 12 hours, then just am likely to veto the bomber if there's even a sniff of attempt to argue up its arsenal.
Just be good to get a little kudos for spending much of my day trying to help you get the fleets you want for use in the game... I really am trying to get you what you want while having a balanced craft.

| So, Jamie's proposed loadout is a serious reduction from Stark's loadout for the Eradication bomber. I understand Jamie's reasons for this (it is quite small to be carrying so much armament, and I'm also hesitant about the Proton Rockets. But Jamie made a convincing case for Proton Rockets on the recent Defense Platform & Minefields request, so I'm more inclined than I'd otherwise be to approve of them). Wouldn't it be a fair compromise, considering that Stark is only requesting 12 of these bombers, to go with Jamie's proposed, much-reduced loadout plus an externally-mounted Proton Rocket on the bottom?

| In the spirit of compromise, and with the understanding of their limited number (Stark having 12, maybe a squadron with a few rich fleets) I am willing to vote to approve with all our present caveats all the designs but no Afflictor for Lorrd, yet.
