Notes Section- - Tarin Mako recruited, among many of his varied combat trainers, a disillusioned Korunnai Padawan who had failed out of the Jedi Trials and, rather than be shunted into the Service Corps, fled Coruscant. With a Padawan on the payroll; a fact kept secret from almost all but a very select few, Stark spent the last ten years searching the Kinyov Province and, through certain sources, other worlds for any young adults from fifteen to twenty-one who exhibited signs of 'unexplained phenomena' or Force sensitivity. While a surprising number were found, only certain ones could be whisked away without raising Jedi suspicion. Unfortunately for Stark, the Padawan who served as their Force trainer was extremely lacking in skills and teaching ability. Through culling and a hard cross-training regimen, the result was fifty highly-capable espionage specialists whose abilities in minor sense, empathic feeling and increased speed, agility and physical prowess made them excellent additions to a much larger team. The certain Padawan who was their trainer became intractable after a time and was, unfortunately, disposed of. This meant that Stark had no further way to train replacement 'psychic soldiers.' While a disappointment in the sense that they could not imitate the Jedi and pull or push things around with their minds, their small enhancements have proved invaluable when they are attached to greater units. As a rule, the 'psychic soldiers' are quartered elsewhere from the regular troops.
- Due to the inability of the MAP-D5's primary weapon to fully elevate to a ninety-degree angle, spacecraft overhead cannot be targeted. However, large spacecraft in high orbit that fall within its elevation range can be successfully tracked and targeted.
- Due to the nature of the MAP-D5's primary cannon and size, it can only be fired once per five minutes.

| The notes here cover everything but if you have a question and want a reply on the full notes I made when making these decisions as well as the more in depth details of these items, click here to see my un-abridged notes.
APPROVE on P1, S1 and C1 with the following notes and caveats:
Protection: Similar to Phase II Clone Armour Exoskeleton Limitations: Improves strength 5x for civilian tasks (running, carrying etc) as well as stability when aiming. Not an advantage in combat. Using the suit's strength males you clumsy and it's speed makes you uncontrolled and flailing.
Survival values of the suit in hostile environments are listed in the full notes, since it's the most likely to occur the survival time in vacuum is 20 minutes. EMP Hardening Caveat: Won't help for emp weapons detonated within a close radius or direct ion/emp weapon hits.
Verpine Shatter Gun Refit - Going to leave this one to Jace. I personally think I should wait to hear if the force can exist before the gun they plan to use will.
APPROVE on Heavy Armour (A1) with the following notes and caveats:
Environmental protection Roughly the same environmental strength & most other details as the other types. Maybe 2x in space etc
A1 Protection Protection is something above Katarn armour and below Mandalorian armour. Very resistant to fire from Blaster Pistols, Rifles and Light Repeaters. Vulnerable to armour penetrating and anti vehicular weapons. Able to take glancing blows from E-Web power weapons which will cause damage to the armour but not injure the wearer, direct hits on critical areas will kill. Can block almost all slugthrower weapons not firing artillery rounds or your own 25mm penetrator. Armour minimizes damage even from weapons it cannot mitigate the damage of entirely and reduces death or disablement chances considerably.
Mobility: Around the same as a overweight person in your movements and dexterity, still able to run/lift/non-combat tasks with 5x normal strength. At te best of times clumsy in close combat. The armour should not be suggested for CC use and would be especially vulnerable to a vibroblade through the less armored sections. Ungainly and easy to get stuckwithin cramped conditions or tunnels.
APPROVE on MBA-2 "Tank Suit" with the following notes and caveats:
Caveats:
Limit in numbers: No more than 100 may be produced, ever, once they're gone they're gone, a Republic License would be required to make these for commercial use and the Military Arms Bureau's rule of thumb is over 100 units is a production run for commercial use.
Note: These or anything like them may never be made for the mass market (the Republic Military Arms Regulations Bureau will block any attempt for a similar design and would block this one, except youd be able to get away without their approval on weapons for yourself.
Big and slow - easy target. In-flight 60 m/ph maximum. Walks at upto 6 m/ph (can aim as well as stationary), can run (isn't able to aim properly during this) at up to 12 m/ph.
Close combat: While slow it'd be massively strong and have those crushing manipulator arms. It'd be able to stomp crowds it landed in pretty effectively, making it good vs mobs. It's also ideal for going toe to toe in close combat with large animals.
Armour: Due to it flying and the constraint of being a big power suit, cannot be as strong as proper military walkers/tanks. The only comparable design is the Mark 1 Droid Walker so I think its armour should be consistent with an AT-PT.
Weapons Replace every time "laser" is used with blaster. So its anti-personnel laser cannon is a light repeating blaster like the T-21 in power. The anti vehicle "heavy laser" would be the kind seen on the DSD 1 (still a powerful anti-vehicle weapon)
If you want to drop the Concussion missles on these, they can switch them for a Heavy Laser Cannon as you originally requested. I'd also entertain a variant armed only with a heavy laser cannon but nothing else.
Mini-Concussion Missiles are 1/3 the power of a concussion missile. These are mounted on the outside and are vulnerable to being hit an exploding. Heavy firepower for a 12 foot suit.
APPROVE on the Doom Tank with the following notes and caveats:
Good luck transporting it practically.
Weight: Even with repulsors providing anti-grav to lighten that weight, it would still be limited in its use. It would require a concrete or rock surface at least 10m thick to rest on overnights without sinking partially.
Fine in the following climates if it keeps moving (but it will be leaving a 2m ditch trench behind it and reduce its speed by 20%: Tropical regions, Temperate regions, Sandy deserts.
Perfect performance on: Very dry steppe, baked dry desert (think australia), solid rock plateaus.
Cannot perform in: Temperate regions after rain, Swamps, Mountainous Regions, Ice-sheets of any sort.
Armor is to be considered equivalent to an ATAT.
Armament of Tank-
1x DBY-825 (DBY-827 Precursor) 2x Triple Barrled Heavy Turbolaser Cannon 8x Rotary blaster cannon
And I'll hand you over to Mr Varitek on the Psychic Soldiers etc. Thank you, and Goodnight.

| The problems I have with this request are surprisingly minor and should be easy to clear up. I'll list them below, but first, here's what I APPROVE of unconditionally:
C-1 Combat Armor
And the following is ON HOLD pending clarification of certain items which I've colored red, since they're things that I would deny or probably deny until I know more:
S-1 Scout/Sniper Armor ■ 25mm Shell-firing anti-material cannon ■ Color-shift heat-masking cloak- assists the shooter with blending in to the background.
I'm against slug-based small arms at this time, and any chameleon-like cloaking technology. Please lose the cloaking device and make the rifle a more Star Wars-appropriate blaster rifle.
P-1 Combat 'Psychic' Armor ■ Modified Verpine shatter gun ■ sub-machine gun
I'm against the Verpine shatter gun, as well as the more conventional slug-thrower.
A-1 Heavy Battle Armor ■ Breaching weapon (commonly shotgun-type)
"Shotgun-type breaching weapon" isn't very specific.
MBA-2 Main Battle Armor ■ NBC Filtration hood/balaclava
Don't know what this is.
MAP-D5 Adjudicator ■ 1x Experimental super-heavy turbolaser cannon (equivalent to 3/4 the power of a W-165)
We knew this was going to be on the list. It's just a big turbolaser comparable to an SPHA-T in size, firepower, and purpose. More than a DBY-series turbolaser certainly, but far less than 3/4ths the firepower of a planetary turbolaser. I'm just going to stick with "comparable to an SPHA-T in firepower," and leave it up to you gentlemen to find out how much firepower that actually is.
I'm largely in agreement with Jamie's notes in Message #2. In fact, he tends to be a bit more generous than I would (for instance, the armor providing 5 times normal strength; this seems excessive to me, but I'll go with it). I have to admit though I haven't read his notes on the OOC forum yet but I can comment on any of them you'd like to draw specifically to my attention.
One big caveat, btw. There's no mention that I saw anywhere of who manufactures any of these. Regardless, I'm approving of them on the assumption they're available to everyone, not just the Iron Guard. I'm really not into approving armor for the specific use of one faction. Now, is the Military Arms Regulation Bureau going to allow you to sell these on the open market? Probably not, so it's the same difference I suppose. But it's the principle of it.
I APPROVE of the description of the Iron Guard "psychic soldiers" (though I dislike the term "psychic soldiers," personally), but not the number. 50 is a bit too much, even for only mildly-Force-sensitive soldiers. I'd prefer on the order of 30, whose Force abilities are as mild as you describe them. (Notably, their "empathic" powers being limited to sensing emotions, not thoughts).
I thought there were going to be capital ships in this request? Or is that a different one?

| I should add.
Of the unit. You need to request a Commissariat, Logistics and Supply unit to be able to keep these people on a planet in combat for more than a few days..
Also... I'm happy with say one company being special forces who are cross trained on all the armour.
Why do you need the flying tank suit if you've already got a close support ship in your helicopter equivalent lander. It does the job better.
I'd like to see specifically designed Commissary ship (or plural) if you want this force in the field more than a week. The supply chain really needs to be explained for a big army like this, with dubious loyalties especially (as the rest of Lorrd would perceive)

| The supply chain itself is built into the unit, as it would be with most units. Naturally, transport vessels and such can classify as logistical ships and, I feel, need not be requested with this specific request.
Citing Rule 3.4 which states: "Numbers of ground forces should be referred to in terms of "regiments," "battalions," etc. that a player is using in a particular battle. The standing army of an entire planet can potentially number in the millions, even billions of troops—listing the total number of them is not necessary, or desirable," I believe that a thousand-man army is not a large army by any standards.
As well, attempting to claim 'dubious loyalties' is neither acceptable or accurate here. American Special Forces, as well as CAG (read as Delta Force) are often seen as the pinnacle of what one can achieve. Movies and books are written about them and they are highly glamorized in America. While there are some small conspiracy theorists who raise questions about their use, it's seen as a great honor and privilege to be pass the qualifications to join the Special Operations community, or to be invited to join in CAG. As such, the armies of all three Houses reflect that.
In regards to the suit, you will note that only one variant has flight capabilities. As I believe I have mentioned, these are an early variant which I intend to lead into something else. I also don't believe an extra company is necessary, who is cross-trained fully. I have been working under the assumption that, with most of the armors being similar in function, that any user trained in one can most likely utilize another with minor difficulty.
