| Senator Ryuun,
Warm and fraternal greetings. The conclusion the Corporate lobby has made is that it is to place it's faith in the election with Senator Kruus of Humbarine as he is the only Senator who has not openly espoused socialistic pro-union sentiment or anti-Federation tirades on the floor of the Senate. He's a moderate candidate who is open to free enterprise and supports the goals we do with regard to increasing Galactic prosperity.
Do you have Administrative experience Senator Ryuun? I ask only because I believe there may well be offices for those suitably experienced in holding power, within his administration (should it be elected) and a man such as yourself could do worse than put himself forward as a candidate when it comes to selecting a new Government.
Senator Lekpin is a matter of concern to us, but seems to be doing our political work for us in unravelling his own campaign of late, as it flails ineffectually in the Senate. An Outer Rim radical, and a lapdog of the Dark Lords of Lorrd, such as he threatens the very prosperity of the Trade Routes, indeed Galactic Stability itself.
As for Kongming, I believe he's sincere enough but a puritanical socialist and radical unionist; as such not someone we can really lend support to. However, it might be dignified to offer his world some aid during its time of crisis.
Thus it is requested and required you vote along with the rest of the Corporate bloc on this issue. Frankly I've been on over by Senator Kruus' words, it's time to stop dividing between Rim and Core politically and work together to rebuild a better future.

| Senator Cynum,
A brief point, I'd like to address, which I believe will show the people of Druckenwell solidarity with the Trade Federation.
As you know, Druckenwell fields a modest planetary fleet, as well as some standing defenses. With the amount of Trade Defense Forces stationed in the Doldur Sector, I've ordered a large barracks constructed, so that TDF marines can be stationed directly in Il Avali. I believe this, in addition to the recent sale of our ground based defenses to the world of Botajef, will go a long way towards convincing the populace that, despite being on the Outer Rim, Druckenwell is under no threat of immediate attack.
The other point concerns Druckenwell's private fleet. Perhaps I should say, the lack thereof. The same world, Botajef, has purchased Druckenwell's fleet, down to the last Turbostorm gunship. I feel that a Trade Defense Force ship in orbit should suffice, and Druckenwell's police force has needed upgraded speeders for some time. Something less... militaristic, I believe.

| So you sold your recently procured fleet?
Why? What profligacy is fuelling such irresponsible sale of your defensive asses?
Are you essentially asking to hand over your world's civilian law enforcement and military defense to the TDF?
I'll refer this to the Directorate.

| No, Prentiss, no, no, no.
The Druckenwell Planetary Police are good at what they do. Could they benefit, perhaps, from some of the training which your TDF marines have? Quite likely so!
As well, the Druckenwell Space Forces are an excellent force, but a solid Trade Federation vessel, a Lucrehulk, perhaps? That would be quite a pride to have a defensive ship! I don't intend to see the police and military go jobless, though. That would greatly ruin our revenue.

| (OOC to Management: I need a popular opinion/Druckenwelliite government ruling as to whether they'd sell their whole new fleet in this manner? It's beggaring belief to me. The Pro-Independence Druckenwellite Government would oppose giving up their defenses, and the Pro-TF ones wouldn't support it as it's not approved by the company. Who would permit this sale of just purchased vessels?)
