I apologize for the delay. I must also apologize for a breach of protocol; it appears that a member of my staff has obtained a copy of a rough outline of your proposal to me, apparently from a Lorrdian staffmember on Coruscant. Since I was ultimately the intended recipient of the proposal, it didn't seem unethical for me to read it. Indeed, I have done, and studied it over the past days. If I understand your proposal, you want bota to be distributed to Republic markets from Mon Calamari Space, in return for an exclusive supply of bota for the Mon Calamari Council. I find this arrangement to be agreeable for Dac and quite advantageous for Lorrd, which is laboring under trade restrictions at the present time. Furthermore, Mon Calamari Space would be a logical distribution point as long as Drongar's legal status remains ambiguous.
It appears that the copy of your proposal that was provided to me was a rough draft only. If you have any additional terms, or if I've misunderstood your intent, do please let me know. But I see no reason why we can't work together on this. Indeed, for the security of the Lorrdian operations on Drongar I am arranging to have Mon Calamari vessels dispatched there as we speak. You can expect their arrival imminently.

No issue at all, actually. Sometimes lines and wires get crossed and you get a bit of miscommunication.
I'm not in disagreement of bota being distributed from Mon Calamari space; between Volmen Shipping Co. and hopefully another supplier, in the event the Trade Federation does not wish to work with us, or wants to gouge us, we should be good on that front. Mon Calamari is certainly welcome to a percentage of the harvests of bota; my goal even before profit is to see twenty-five percent of every harvest donated to Republic medical facilities.
Finbar, my friend, if even half of what the researchers and tests have said about this substance is true... well, let's just say life will be easier in the galaxy. If only it wasn't so damned fickle to harvest, and if Drongar itself wasn't such a terrible world to try and operate from!
I digress, though. With Drongar's current status up in the air, I'm rather afraid that, if the Hutt-backed Nikto don't try to make a move against the world, then another unscrupulous Republic world may attempt a bid. Having your vessels there are appreciated as a sort of stop-gap until I sway the Senate into committing a small group of Judicial Forces based off the defense station we're putting together.
