| Senator,
I seem to recall that you owe me your support in the election. But that won't matter if this Vote of No Confidence succeeds and there is no election. So I'm calling in the favor now, Lomen. The Trade Federation has made me an offer, which has to mean that Trade Federation delegates such as yourself haven't been instructed how to vote yet. In the absence of any instruction from the Federation, I ask that you vote against the No Confidence motion. And quickly, please—Prentiss isn't dumb and I can only "consider" his offer for so long before he realizes I'm stalling him.
You owe me this, Lomen. But even though we'd be even, I would still be grateful. And I always find ways to show my gratitude.
Yours sincerely,
Jaso Pryce Senator of Metellos and Supreme Chancellor Emeritus Chairman of the Internal Activities Committee Esteemed Member of the Trade Commission

| Chancellor,
You're only partially correct. The Trade Federation bloc's initial stance was to vote 'yea' on the Vote of No Confidence; a message that was quickly pulled back with no further instruction from Prentiss.
You drive a hard bargain, Chancellor. Consider my vote in. I'm wiping this message from my datapad and we'll pretend we never had this conversation, for safety's sake. My place on Druckenwell isn't... assured, after all.
Regards,
Lomen Ryuun Senator, Druckenwell (103 BBY - 93 BBY) Minister of Economics
