We're aware that you've long been interested in preserving and maintaining older Warships and we laud this. We have a Praetorian-class Frigate which has been kept in vacuum storage in original condition, having never been used since it's production close to four thousand years ago after it was delivered in a sealed container (one of many the Republic delivered to us to help stave off Sith Assaults, but the only one we didn't ever unbox) it comes with complete copies of all it's original manuals and paperwork transferring them signed by the Defense Minister of the Galactic Republic at the time, Netus.
As we know you're a yard which values antiquities and history, and since this may well be the only never used or modified ship of this class left in existence, we were wondering if you would consider trading it for A. Production of some ships for our own Polity or B. Purchase for a reasonable price in Gold Peggats, plus a contract for you to help develop and monetize our yards at Dakaret?
This would be a perfect piece to study the history of Galactic Shipbuilding, research possibly lost technologies, allow visitors to fly in a piece of history or simply to display at an exhibit.

| To The Grand Vizier and Emperor of the Cygnus Star Empire,
I would be pleased to have a look at this Praetorian-class frigate; a true rarity, especially in such good condition as you mention. While I'd be willing to consider certain deals with the Cygnus Star Empire, you must know as well that you are not precisely in favor with the Republic and as such, I must be careful how I tread in this regard. Yet, I am open to further discussion.

| I'm conditionally transferring the ship to the IGBC Galactic Vessels Exchange listing. So it is IGBC property now. The contract works by the sale price of the ship being awarded to the Cygnus Star Empire if the sale is successful, if there is no sale or the reserve is not met the ship is returned. The ship is the property of the IGBC while listed.
It's a vessel with all it's papers, and while I am sure you believe I am an evil slaving despot, eater of children and criminal, I'm the Emperor who to my own surprise as much as anyone elses has brought investment into the region, increased prosperity, increased the standards of living and life expectancy of the people of the Cygnus Star Empire. I may not be perfect, but I am sure as hell that I am a better ruler than the inbred fops who had run the Empire into the ground in the last few centuries.
And if you note, Piracy has dropped, Slave raiding has dropped and Trade has increased, including thriving markets for Cygnus goods in Hutt Space. I'm currently undertaking to built the Empire a stronger and more modern defensive force to allow patrol of borders to happen even while a small taskforce may be attending to internal issues. I've modernized their starfighter corps and done numerous other good things. I have in many areas taken the power away from hereditary officers and replaced it with leadership by the best and brightest.
Why do humans always assume the Hutt is a bad person, a despot or otherwise evil. It saddens me that my whole race is tarred with one brush.

With the vessel under IGBC trading and property rights, I can more accurately assess whether or not this vessel will be purchased. However, I feel you misunderstood my statement. I can acknowledge that Hutts think completely different from Humans and as such, what is considered right and wrong in your society may make little sense in our society. I'm not judging you; not personally, as far as it goes.
However, the Republic, of which I am, for the moment, still a part, states that you are a criminal and as such, I am wary when it comes to possibly tarnishing the reputation of Lorrd Engineering by doing business with you. There is a professional side to consider. However, by placing the vessel(s) under control of the IGBC, you've effectively removed limitations.

Even by what is right and wrong in your terms, I am a being who has paid his time in prison for crimes previously committed in the Republic. And currently despite some worlds (corrupt effete Core ones such as Alsakan) who have charged me in their own jurisdiction, that are not Republic-wide offenses. And cooperating as I do with Republic authorities at every turn, and am innocent until proven guilty of the minor charges currently filed against me... By your terms I am a being who has done bad things, I am not wanted by the Republic I am simply an ex-convict and have a few charges against me now in the courts... I am not a wanted felon by any means.
I feel you risk damaging your corporate profit at the expense of it's image. None of the major shipyards refuse to do business with the Cygnus Star Empire, and we have good credit with the Corporate Alliance and IGBC as a result. We are not under any form of trade sanction from the Republic, so why will your worlds not help my worlds develop economically, for mutual profit?

I believe you mean in 'Human' terms; not 'my' terms. Without intending offense, you are not in my mind and as such, you cannot speak for my opinion on what you have done right or wrong. For all you know, I might consider everything you've done in your life to be the pinnacle of what I should wish to be. I will disabuse you of that notion, however, for starters.
Regardless of your status with the Republic; an item I personally have no control over and on which my word would mean little, I can only concentrate on the business deal at hand. My business, in part, is Lorrd Engineering. If every shipwright in the galaxy bent down to lick your tail, it does not mean I would follow suit. I have stated that I am considering the purchase of the Praetorian-class from you, with the IGBC as an intermediary. What you do with the credits after they are yours, should I choose to purchase the vessel, is your business, be it economic development of your world or using a random Cygnus world as a weapons test ground.
I will note that there is no sale pricing on any of the ships available.
