| Venerable Sirs,
Please could you discuss forthwith (no doubt after consulting your Jedi Pilots or "Aces" as they like to call themselves) as to if your Order presently requires the EX-10 "Hellion" prototype? It's been written off at the Judicial Forces as being unsuitable due to safety issues, being unable to carry defensive or offensive systems and requiring extremely high cost maintenance.
However, the Jedi Order has been known to have a preference for eccentric ships so I thought it best to directly ask you first before I return this ship to it's owners QOM. Does the Jedi Order require this ship? And if so I must insist it be stored at the Jedi Temple Docking Complex and be funded by the Jedi Order's budget.
Please be prompt in this matter as it is directly from the Supreme Chancellor himself.
Sincerely,
(Details of ship)

| Commandant Kant,
Master Tching is reviewing his notes on a recent meditation session, and he has authorized me to answer any time-sensitive communications. I know he has been in Council-authorized negotiations with Kuat Systems Engineering to develop the next generation of Jedi starfighter. As these negotiations are in an advanced stage, I do not believe that we require this prototype at the present time. But I'm sure Master Tching thanks you for being mindful of us.
Sincerely,
Tasha Zarnova Jedi Knight

| Commandant Kant,
After review of the EX-10, the Jedi Order concluded that it has no use for such a craft. For many centuries the Jedi have privately maintained their own craft, which the High Council has at times organized into loose squadrons. For the first time since the Mandalorian Excision, the Jedi Order is reactivating the organized Jedi Starfighter Corps, and doing so through two squadrons, Red Squadron and Blue Squadron. With this move, we have been working with Kuat Drive Yards, which has developed a variant of the Judicial Forces new CloakShape Starfighter, known as the Whitecloak, which I have personally assisted in the design, development, and testing of, and is being adopted as the new standard Jedi starfighter. While we would allow purchase by individual Jedi for their personal craft of choice, I'm afraid we must decline the craft for use by the Order on in any official capacity.
