I am but a mere Governor and Corporate Manufacturer in the Outer Rim. I wonder if you are aware of the Church of the Kind Deity? It is a movement based in the Outer Rim largely confined to the Seswenna Sector and is committed to the cause of promoting the worship of the Goddess by all humans. You, sir, are a profound expert on the Pius Dea Crusades and have been known to write much expanding the Galaxy's knowledge of that religion, as fellow worshippers of their deity, we would like to ask if you would consider coming to speak a lecture at the Cathedral here on Eriadu?
I'd be more than prepared to pay your transport costs and all other expenses, provide you with a tour of the dockyards in orbit and offer you lodgings and a personal tour of the Governor's Palace as my own guest. In addition the Church would (I believe) be happy to cover any fee you might charge to speak to them. The lecture would be done in a non-ceremonial time and not during a worship service, so if such things that make you uncomfortable then I can promise they won't cause you issue.

You extend me a kind offer, to come to Eriadu and lecture, and I agree. However, my own ship, the Blended Jade, will suffice to deliver me there safely. The Goddess' hand shelters me, and keeps me safe. For Her, and for the people of Eriadu and the Church of the Kind Deity, I shall agree to arrive in, shall we say, two weeks time?
