| The Jafan Sultanate had been sick about the very system named after it basically ignored his occupation. Today, it wasn't going to be the case, he came fully ready.
Three Action-class Freighters followed his Munifex-class and immediately with its dozen Cloakshape escort, along with a Gallofree-class Freighter. They approached the world and then 36 small 15m long cargo pods dropped off the GR-75 directly into the Naboo atmosphere before it turned about and headed for deep space. As soon as the atmosphere was suitable (i.e. they were out of vacuum) these pods would break apart, deploying the 36 K222 Interceptors of his forces. They would set a course for Naboo.
The Freedom (the Munifex-class) launched it's own A-6 Interceptors, 12 of them staying on station with the Cloakshapes ready to be a tactical reserve if need be. They awaited their mercs arrival eagerly.
"Your time is up on your Tyranny, do you surrender the Crown to me, your Legitimate King?" Leofric would sent the Naboo monarch as the first K222s began to orbit Theeed, the Royal Hangar he had picked as a targgeted in advance so theres no getaway.if the Mo narrch tried to figjt or step down, the first thing she would get would be a brace of Concussion Missiles up her capital's Palace Hangar!

| "No, absolutely not," the King shook his head vigorously at the mere suggestion of scrambling fighters to meet Leofric in orbit. "I won't fight a Naboo, and certainly not a Jafan."
"They're not Naboo, they're mercenaries," insisted Mayor Huxley of Theed, a participant in the emergency meeting that Mercurio had convened at the Royal Palace. "And I'm sorry, Your Majesty, but Leofric Jafan is clearly insane," Huxley said, pointing a damning finger at the holoscreen which, a moment earlier, had played Leofric's demented message. "He's totally incoherent, Sire. And whatever he's come here to do, he's obviously going to do it no matter what we say or do." Importantly, no one in the room disagreed with Huxley.
Mercurio pounded a fist weakly on the table. "That's my cousin you speak of, man! I don't accept that he's insane." But his words were absent conviction. Madness was known to run in Leofric's line of the Jafan family. His claim to the throne was peripheral to say the least; there was no logic to what he was doing, unless he'd gone power mad, as Huxley assumed. But still, Mercurio didn't want to believe it. He even entertained the possibility (briefly) that Leofric had been brainwashed by Gungan supremacists. Anything would be better than the truth that he saw in the eyes of every man and woman present in this meeting.
"We must do something, Your Majesty," Captain Dawes of the Royal Security Forces said softly, "And we must do it now."
Mercurio rapped his fingers on the table for a long moment. Scrambling the RSF's police airfighters wouldn't do them much good. Not against a Class 1000 cruiser. How many of his subjects would perish in battle with Leofric Jafan? Mercurio came to a decision. "Dawes, the RSF is to be armed and ready, to a man. Full planetary alert. All airfighters fueled and ready for launch. But no fighter leaves its hangar and no shot is fired until I say so."
"But Sir―!" Huxley interjected, as Dawes bowed and quickly left the room to carry out his orders.
Mercurio raised a hand to silence the Mayor. "First, I must try talking to Leofric. But I've another message to send first..."

"Cousin Leo, what has become of you? Why are you doing this? I will not raise a hand against my own family. You didn't share your toys when you were a child, Leo. But these ships and fighters of yours aren't toys; call them off, or our people are going to be hurt. A Republic cruiser departed here less than an hour ago―it is on its way back now. I've sent calls for assistance to Chommell Minor and to the Senate. It's not too late, Leo. No one's been hurt. Call off your ships and let's talk. This is not how Jafans settle their differences."

"Give me the Crown, Couisin..." Leofric said angrily as he stood on his warship's bridge "And then noone gets hurt. You can retire back to Grizmallt or a country estate and live out your life much as you do now but I'll have the throne of Naboo that is mine by right of descent. "
He banged his fist on the arm of his command chair "Turbolasers are the last argument of Kings? Did not King Jafan III say this? Now I am prepared to be generous, to grant you even the right to continue as King in name, so long as I am granted the Regency and I am made your sworn heir. If not, I offer you the chance to meet me in single combat if you dare, otherwise we have no further recourse except to the last argument?"
"We are both of the same blood. And I will regret a drop of it being shed. But I will shed as much as needs to be bled to secure MY THRONE! I care nothing of the Gungans or any of our matters of contention, I would even guarantee to continue your policies. I care for my feudal rights to be validated. You know nothing of what it means to be a King denied his Kingdom, to be kept from the throne by you."
The K222 Air Fighters above Theed would stay in place and maintain stations with missile locks at the places the Royal Security might launch fighters, a squadron of them patrolling at a little distance further to assure no surprises happened. "I am no terrorist, nor am I a violent being but I will reclaim what my blood entitles me to, by force if need be. This is bigger than the Republic or your many other allies, this is the Young King demanding his inheritance. Turn over Theed to me peacefully, and you may continue to administrate the rest of the world"

| (( Okay, so my post (Message #3) was just going to be a courtesy post announcing in advance that the Sundered Veil-class corvette Freia Kallea is one post away, so I'm not dropping in on the thread unexpectedly.
