and it goes on
"Despite the presence of this dangerous weapons load the SD-6 still finds its way into the hands of private citizens and is often used to guard hangars and docking bays where heavy weaponary is a deterrent to would-be intruders."
I thus rebut the notion that this droid isn't available to those outside of the Republic military.
