| I took a lot of the explanatory waffle out. Here's the basic design. This request is here so I can clear the clutter of the custom design off the Cygnus Request and also so we can refer to here for the ship instead of linking to it as part of the Cygnus request.

The Bridge is the only place onboard the ship can be controlled from and is protected by double blast doors, deflector shields and even on the outside by an extra hull layer if non-conductive ceramic (preventing conner nets working)

| I think the forward-firing heavy ion cannons are a bit over the top for this ship. I'd be willing to approve them as light ion cannons, but not much else, unless you're willing to make a trade off in other weapons and such.
I'm good with pretty much everything else. Just awaiting your commentary and Jace's take.

| I would much prefer to see light ion cannons. Consider that, despite firing arcs, etc, for a ship this size, it's reasonably well armed.
Twenty main cannon and eight anti-starfighter weapons (as well as a pair of tractor beams, which, while not actually a weapon, can certainly be used to make someone's day miserable. In combination with the carrying of the craft you've listed (capability of high-speed anti-fighter OR a heavy anti-capital), this ship just has a little too much punch, if you see where I'm going.

So, yeah. I agree.
I think the ion cannons make for good chase guns, but that being the case I'd rather they function as chase guns traditionally do, to slow down a ship rather than disable it completely. So light ion cannons seem appropriate to me.

| The one thing I don't see here though is what makes an Emperor Jamulon-class an Emperor Jamulon-class instead of a Resolute-class? You mentioned in Skype that there was a minute difference. Is it minute enough that for the purposes of the Cygnus request, the Resolute- and Emperor Jamulon-classes are one and the same?
