| Baltimn, being a smaller world, though described as not easily accessible, would depend more on natural defenses, but still maintain a small, modest fleet consisting of the following:
2x CR90 Corvette (even though they don't actually exist yet) - Primary defensive vessels 8x Modified YT-2400 light freighter (Modified as follows) - Engines upgraded to military specifications
- Reinforced titanium armor hull
- Military grade sensor system
- Upgraded weapon systems to:
- 2x Dual heavy laser cannon turrets
- 2x Concussion missile turrets (3x missiles each)
24x A-6 Interceptor

| I see nothing wrong with this request. However, after looking over the CR90 vs. the CR70, it's an ambiguous area. I know Jace approved the CR90, and while I was not likely to do so, largely because there is no solid proof showing that the CR90 does exist in present time period, there's also not enough proof to show that it doesn't. So, for the moment, my vote on this is Approve.

| Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. "In the last decades of the Galactic Republic, the CR90 corvette was introduced"; since "decades" are the denomination used, I see that conservatively as "within the last 100 years" of the Republic. Plus, in more practical RP terms, I could insist that we go with the CR70 instead of the CR90, but the only consequential difference between them is that the CR90 has 2 more turbolasers on it, and the CR70 could be easily modified to this configuration in the RP. So we might as well just go with the CR90. I APPROVE of those.
But I'm hesitant on the YT-2400. I just don't really see it fitting a planetary defense profile. Baltimn may be a fairly inconsequential Outer Rim planet, but it still has better options than buying up light freighters and modifying them for a planetary defense role. If nothing else on Wookieepedia tickles your fancy, perhaps you could look to some of the custom designs in the RP? Already there are quite a few of them. In fact, I have an upcoming line of Mon Calamari gunships that would perform nicely in this role.

| I'll concede the point on the CR90s.
Granted, Baltimn could have better options, and while Mon Calamari might have an upcoming line of gunships, such are not yet open for checking over, or sale, etc, and no in-character overtures have been made between Mon Cal and Baltimn. The YT-2400 is a cost effective craft and, like most CEC ships, modular and more than easily modifiable, especially by an actual planet. Militarized, it can serve as a light escort, pirate patrol and a small capture ship.

| I'm mostly convinced. Still, I guess I'd prefer not having to keep track of custom modifications and instead go with ships whose stats already meet your needs. Even CEC has many other designs to choose from, for instance. But if you insist...?

| Would it be easier to say Outrider-configuration for those ships? That's more or less what the upgrades are. Granted, it's not exactly the Outrider, just a handful of its perks and upgrades. Added (26 November 13, 11:09 AM) --------------------------------------------- Actually, fuck it, just nix the freighters.

| Yeah, I think the fact it probably doesn't exist yet is the third strike against it.
Anything you want to replace it with? Or just go with the CR-90's for now?

| 2x CR70
and the 24x A-6 Interceptors mentioned above.
I'd actually like to see people use some of the older stuff, if we're going to try and be 'time period appropriate.' If nobody else will do it, then at least I'll make an attempt.
