I write to apologize for the very sad losses suffered by your people.
The perpatrators are well known on my planet and have turned themselves in for questioning, they have confessed fully.
Perhaps when you get this you will think how your actions in allowing the radical Lorrdian Anti Slavery Society to propagandize provokes reactionary groups from areas where slavery is a way of life, this could easily have been avoided.
Such a shame. I trust you'll be happy to know we have them.

Lorrd has turned over justice and the investigation to the Judicial Forces and the Republic. For acts of terrorism against a Republic member world, this is out of immediate Lorrdian jurisdiction. To charge the culprits on a planetary level at this point would constitute double jeopardy, especially with the investigation no longer in our hands. I cannot comment on your legal system, but rest assured I will pass your message on to the Republic and I expect they will contact you as soon as possible.

| Unfortunately, as you've not laid charges the individuals are to be freed.
Also, due to our double jeopardy laws no man may be extradited for an alleged offense or any others on the day of the offense on another planet unless that planets representative declares and asserts intent to prosecute immediately what the being is wanted for, these must be crimes which exist in both jurisdictions laws and the being must be fit to stand trial.
As this has not happened, I'm afraid I'll be unable to extradite the responsible party or even arrest him in connection with the events of that day.
My apologies. I'm sure the Republic will write us a very strongly worded letter about this, but it is the law.

And indeed threatening to send men to seek them out prompts me to consider offering them protective asylum as they have a demonstrable threat of kidnapping by foreign agents!

It was one man with a group of mercenaries from Hutt space paid to help...
