Little known facts of he Antiquarian.

All that is known of the Antiquarian is he is the man in the Outer Rim who can get you almost any force related item for a price. He's not a Jedi or a Sith, but was raised on Tund by a human family. His mind has been ravaged by the constant exposure to the items he has the predeliction to collect that he doesn't know himself what his origins are. Only that in seeking out the forbidden arts he looses a little more of himself and views it as a voyage to transcendence.

He himself has not seen his own face in twenty years, when he adopted the costume of an ancient Sith plague Doctor when he entered a mass grave of the infected to take the various minor personal items and oddities they might have on their bodies. Fearing such infection he keeps himself constantly in this archaic and horrifying looking visage.

His house is around ten kilometers from the nearest town, at hte foot of a hill with a stream going into the stinking swamp across a stick wooden rotten causeway leads to the next town The area is filled with a perpetual smokelike fog which is breathable but impossible to see through very many meters. At night, creatures can be heard in th swamp eating or fighting eachother.

He is not a Sith, and he was not brought up as a Sorcerer on Tund, but he grew up a sadist who loved implemenents of torture and horror. He keeps several dozen force items around his bedroom, and it's been hypothesize he has some sort of unhealthy sexual love for then,

What is known among the Dark Side users of the Dark Holonet and Jedi Spies there

What is known to the Public of Desevro.

The people of Desevro generally don't talk to Republic (let alone those in Uniform who arent allowed to visit in an official capacity anyway, From the Encyclopedia Galactica relating on their relations with the Republic. Noone is much interested in The Antiquarian exct as a strange old scientist - fw if any believe the Jedi trics are real, thinking them to just be an excuse to perpetuate Republic power.

'The Republic dropped volleys of pressure bombs on Desevro, and the Desevrars gave Coruscant the same treatment. The Republic won the war by turning the Hutts against the Union. This led to the Union's end as an independent state. The worlds of the Union joined the Republic by 23,900 BBY as a member sector with Tion as the capital; Desevro, however, bitterly refused to follow the crowd and remained proudly independent. As a result, the planet became a political backwater even for the Outer Rim. Desevrars, as the native Humans were called, were extremely speciesist, calling all nonhumans Hutts.'

They know through a different Dark Holosite each night where he may exhibit a few of his items and sell others if he reached a good price. It is via this advertising he can be traced t Jerne itself if one has access to the Holonet beacons in the route.

The Antiquarian's General Public knowledge if you lived nearby and asked locals.

The old weird man in the swamp has repeatedly been inspeced by law enforcement and he's been found to be nothing but a strange antique collector who dresses bizarrely and lives in a dark house deep in the swamps. The Desevro The children tell eachotther myths about him eating children or pecking their eyes out. The official position of the Desevrars great rulers is that there is no such thing as the Force and it is all parlor tricks, they don't ban "Hutt Monks" (translates as Non-Tionese Jedi)from travelling in their world's space or touring. They give them any legal rights above any other tourists.

There is no Desevrar law against owning any force related item, and the Antiquarian is one of the most prolific colleectors of not lays the most powerful but usually the most disturbing or shocking. He's known to travel offworld a lot and return with antiques (which has no inspection regime) so is (like the kilos of spice which flood in) ignored when he brings in a case of Jedi Skulls.

He supplies items on occasion but is primarily a collecteor, he donated several rare Sith Wars lught sabers to the Planetary museum and is broadly seen positively. Creepy, odd, but harmless.

---------------------------------------------
Because the locals don't talk to outsiders, and because he uses a mailbox to sell his items. Only via hacking his holonet link (timely and expensive plus extremely obvious and likely to upset the local Independent Govt) or by pushing the truth out of locals you happen to visit within 50 miles of the "Terror Tower" which is well known for it's late night screams..

An Antiquarian and Trader in Goods linked to the Forbidden Arts, naturally I ply my trade outside the Republic on the still Independent Desevro in a darkly lit ghoulish house,
