Biography - Like most Jedi, Terpken knows very little about his life prior to joining the Jedi. He came to the Order young from a merchant clan on Dac, and while his strength with the Force is average at best, where the young initiate really shined was the scholarly aspects of Jedi life. His predilection for study allowed him to quickly understand the metaphysical and philosophic beliefs of the Order, leading him to eventually choose the path of the Jedi Consular when he came of age. While he initially studied under the tutelage of the Temple Librarian, he soon discovered his true calling as a mediator. Diplomats were ever in short supply in a galaxy full of conflicting interests, and Terpken soon became a Jedi Knight in his own right and began to travel across the galaxy, lending his services as one of the Order's up-and-coming negotiators.
