Background:
Having purchased a volcanic peninsular on this beautiful world we have established a state of the art facility for the safe and hygienic destruction of organic waste such as cadavers and even the most dangerous parasites, medical and societal. Officially for disposing of medical waste, diseases formerly stored for research, dangerous creatures, large numbers of cadavers from plagues etc.
True Purpose of the Corporation: To allow criminals, genocidal rulers and every other type of wrongun to dispose of their victims, live or dead, by dropping them into a volcano. Perfect for all these classes since the lava obliterates even the bones, clothes, and metals.
The world is outside of the Republic and not governed by Republic laws. The company is allowed to operate thanks to the newly settled rules not having safety rules like checking cargo containers before they can be obliterated, to verify their cargo, to regulate the destruction of cadavers etc. There is not even a requirement on Devros as yet that requires a cadaver to be medically dead before he is declared legally so and buried, simply a set of basic laws like "Do not steal" "Do not murder" etc which govern the basic running of a small colony. So Dr Cratwright can declare any individual dead (for a price) of any cause that might be wished by the person wanting legal absolution before murder. And then have the corpse obliterated by Cratwright with there being no evidence left (for a fee), ideal for heirs and heiresses wanting to "do away with dad" in order to unlock the family money.
