Traits: Derek has leadership abilities but always blows hot and cold. Derek has a major depression. He is a thinker, rather than a talker...which meant he would not say more than what's needed most of the time. He doesn't like to be around people often, even though he gets along with people so easily. He loves history, and also liked to talk about the mysteries behind the Universe.
History: Derek was born in the Lower City of Taris to his parents, of whom were a spice dealer and a prostitute. At an age of two, he was found by a Jedi Knight to be Force Sensitive, Unknown to Derek, after some debate, the Jedi was able to take the baby off his parents' hands for some credits. From there, he was brought to Coruscant to be part of the Bear Clan. However, ever since he got out of the Bear Clan, he has been passed from a Master to another. Until eventually, he was recently assigned to Master Kadek. How their relationship as a teacher and a student goes...they would both find out soon enough.
