Background:
45 years ago, Malastare was sending out Dug military members to do their dirty work as a part of the long-standing disdain Gran had for Dugs following their colonization of the planet. Sag al’Dai was a young pilot in the military at the time, and though little else is known of his
history, it is plainly known that save for one son, Sag al’Dai Jr., the
rest of his family was lost. Following the war, Sag Sr. left the military, angry and bitter, like many Dugs,
and moved on to use his skills as a mercenary, fighting in other wars
and conflicts. Good at what he did, he saved his money and invested in
other realms of the underworld: Smuggling, Bounty Hunting, Extortion,
Drugs, et cetera.
Within 20 years, Sag al’Dai Sr. had a broad network that was steadily moving back out of the Outer rim.
This was when he first arrived in Naboo, and soon, he realized a
potential in several other planets to establish a foothold in the
Mid-Rim. Since this move, Sag al’Dai has carefully kept his head down
and his name quiet as he let his network run itself skillfully as he ran
the mercenary work personally whilst his trusted friend, a Bothan named
Gryzl, ran the rest of the network until he reached the age of 65.
Ready to retire, over the last five years, Sag has taken a more direct
hand in the operation of his network and now runs a criminal empire that
competes with another rising power…the Black Sun.
Now, Sag Sr. is still expanding, and though he is close to retirement, he still has a full agenda with the stiff competition through out the galaxy...
