History:
Growing up without a mother and with a father who was barely there was hardly a difficulty for young Ilanah Ilyone. Of course there were maids, and governesses that tried to keep up with the young lady, but sometimes to no avail. She kept up her school work and did quite well, despite her sometimes wild and uncontrollable nature. It was rebellion against her father, mostly. Unfortunately, she also developed a slight addiction to spice, though mostly only social usage.
At age 17, Ilanah and her father threw a masquerade ball as a fundraiser for the charity that had been started in her mothers name. Ilanah went missing during the party, kidnapped by an unknown and was missing for nearly five years until her return. No one really knew the whole story of what had happened, as she kept it to herself, but there was speculation. The official story, however, was that she had been kidnapped by hired thugs of a political rival, and lost her memory on some barely populated planet on the outer rim. That was until one day when she was found and taken to Corellia for treatment and her memory returned. The physicians to collaborate her story had been paid handsomely.
It was obvious that she returned very changed; happier, and sober. After her father was made King, she asked to serve as an ambassador for Naboo, which she did brilliantly.
The missing years:
In reality, Ilanah Ilyone had not been kidnapped by a political rival, but by someone she had originally thought to be a friend. Actually, he wasn't even a friend. Cycerin Sumarai was a criminal, sometime drug dealer, ex-soldier. He convinced her, while she was high of course, that her father had paid him to kill her. Political gain, he cited. After all, what could get a politician further than playing on the sympathies of the public. And she believed him and let him take her off world...to protect her, of course.
But over the years the drugs, crime and sex continued to push her into a downward spiral. She was no longer Ilanah Ilyone, but Nedalia Draycen, girlfriend and accomplice to Cycerin Sumari. That was, until he died of an accidental overdose. On that very same day, he had told her that he lied to her. He told her that her father had spent millions of credits looking for her, and that he had lied. Even still, she had realized that she wanted to stay with him, and she loved him.
She took the next year getting sober, and getting her identity back. Thanks to a Shard on Coruscant, Nedalia Draycen was completely eradicated without a trace from the databanks so that she could return home without a problem or without causing issues for her father.
