| Senators,
I have sat in this chamber for nearly a dozen years now, and I must say, I am saddened to see what our great hall has come to when men like Crown Prince Ordan can openly mistreat, shame and belittle female senators; men like Senator Terrawin can spout rhetoric left and right; men like Draken Tu'Rot can spit in the eye of a race bent on peace, men like Roman Lekpin can allow corruption and men, and here I use the term loosely, like Lomen Ryuun, Luneray Kruus, Prentiss Cynum and the rest of the Trade Federation and Techno Union bloc can wield such power and influence to the detriment of others.
It is because of all of this that I am announcing my retirement. I do not know when Baltimn will elect their next senator, but this has been a long time in coming. I am happy to say there are those of you I will miss and that I enjoyed meeting with in these halls, though.
Gentlebeings of the Senate, it has been a pleasure.

| Order, Senator Ordan. You are called to order, Sir. Let's show some courtesy to Senator Stomwell, gentlemen. We may not know him particularly well. He may not have proposed even a single piece of legislation as a Senator. But why such hate for a person and a planet we hardly know? What I do know about Senator Stomwell was that he was decent enough to defend me during the Vote of No Confidence, and surely he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment on the day of his retirement as Senator of Balting.
