Declaration for the Annexation of the Yavin System

| In order to better study and explore the Yavin System, the Royal Government of Alderaan hereby declares it's annexation of the Yavin System to better study it's un-touched ecosystems, interesting species and to protect such indigenous beings as might be there from the influence of outsiders.
We've had scout ships arrive there on exploratory missions then in the the last months doing scientific research and we've discovered a lot of merit, but also ecosystems that are fragile and must not be interfered with by the General public. While the system has been discovered before the BoSS informs me the actual coordinates from five thousand years ago have been lost.
We propose not to discuss the detailed location of the system except with the Republic Judicial Forces if required. Under our leadership it would not be a member of the Republic (as we don't plan permanent settlement) but would be a Republic Affiliated World with the same rights to defense as the rest of the worlds in it's sector.
The System will be treated as under the Protection of Alderaan, which will be responsible for regulating egress and ingress to the system. As a nature reserve it will be off limits to civilian ships. Also for research purposes we will be conducting several trials and prospecting missions (where it will not harm the natives) to see if we can make our mission self funding.
We will be redeploying our Outer Rim Naval Base from Jerne to Yavin to secure our claim. The wide and little used expanse of the system will prove an excellent training ground for our fleet and it's suitably isolated to have none of the connotations Jerne had when we posted naval assets there.

| Crown Prince Ordan, what credentials do your environmentalists have? How many are on the team that you are sending? What steps will be taken to secure the integrity of Yavin's environment?
Chandrila would be very interested in sending at least five of our more renowned environmentalists and agriculturists to aide your own team in these delicate studies.

Alderaan is about the most beautiful and unspoiled Core World. We've always had strict environental regulations and we're not about to allow anything to taint a virgin ecosystem such as the one we're studying using passive methods at present. We wouldn't want tourists or inquisitive prospectors digging up ancient trees or spilling waste.
I apologize but while I can't share Yavin's location with you (as OOC it's location is "lost" in this period and we found it)
You are aware that Yavin is a Gas Giant with a sequence of moons. We're not going to have anything on the moons to cause pollution, so there is nothing for Chandrila to worry about.

| "Inexperieced Individuals? Alderaan has tens of thousands of years of good records protecting it's ecosystem, climate and atmosphere. I can assure you that On Yavin, all Alderaanian operations will be conducted in line with an environmentally friendly approach. I can promise you that.
Our Alderaan Royal Society of Science Expedition present with the fleet is fully qualified in environmental protection to the standards used to protect our environment as seen in the pictur I just displayed.

Do be careful, though. The Yavin System was rumored to have some connection to the ancient Sith cult in ages past, so I'd not want anything bad to happen to your people.
